OK, let zoom in on "Vehicle Quota Premium", which are referring to COE premium (new car) and PQP (car >10 years).

FY2018

Total vehicle quota premium: $3.27 Billion

COE premium collected: $3.155 Billion (accountable for ~96.5% of total premium)

Estimated PQP collected: $0.115 Billion (~3.5% of total premium)

FY2019 *(Figures based on government estimation)

Total vehicle quota premium: $3.42 Billion

COE premium collected: $3.3 Billion (accountable for ~96.5% of total premium)

Estimated PQP collected: $0.12 Billion (~3.5% of total premium)

$3.3 Billion over 24 bidding exercise (in 12 months), the average revenue is around $137.5 Million / round, and the closest reference we can had is May 2018 bidding exercise, where average premium for cat A, B & E are around $38K.

Again, I am not implying that premium is going to head north soon, but if $3.42B is the KPI, it is either LTA release more COE to increase revenue, or do something that would drive up demand (and price). Ehmm... ... [sweatdrop]  [sweatdrop]

Interesting data... Noticed that the "Motor Vehicle Taxes" they expecting an increase from $2.88bil to $3.09bil, increase of $0.21bil. Since the vehicle quota is zero growth, in order for more Vehicle Taxes either increasing the vehicle quota, more people driving bigger vehicle, or more people driving older vehicle?

I really don't think govt. will do anything, it is an estimate not KPI. See last 2018 estimate v. actual, $2B different leh..

Is it normal that I am unable to search my NRIC to check my bid status? Deposit was placed last weekend.

Only when a bid is placed then you can login and see the bid amt

Try login later to see.. generally after 1-2pm

Do we need a company acknowledgement code to check ?

If no matching record found, it just means the dealer never bid right? Searched under individual..

Bidding lasts until 4 pm.  Dealer has until that time to put in a bid.
