Mrmilktooth Supercharged November 20, 2015 Share November 20, 2015 went msia last week and pumped vpower.. engine runs smoother, 'gears shift quicker' but FC actually poorer.. probably around 8-10% i estimate..

UncleSky 2nd Gear November 21, 2015 Share November 21, 2015 Something weird happened to my car last night: While entering a car park(those that need to insert cashcard), my car just died with all the warning indication light on and i had to restart my car to get it to move. - i know i am in istop mode coz i rememeber stepping on the brake hard - i had to open the door coz i cant reach to insert the cashcard The moment i close back the door and wanted to move on, i noticed i cant drive and all warning indication was on and amber light was showing on my start/stop push button. Any1 encounter the same issue as me before?

dcb Turbocharged November 21, 2015 Share November 21, 2015 That is weird man. Please check with Trans Eurokars. danzo 2nd Gear November 21, 2015 Share November 21, 2015 (edited) I was in D when it happened. My legs is on the brakes... no handbrake on... Perhaps its a safety mechanism.... istop can kick back up the engine after some time in D or if you lift the pressure off the brake slighly.... and when that happens and car detect you open the door wide in D mode when istop tried to start the engine back and thus shut down the engine and show the warning indicators... X5actor 4th Gear November 21, 2015 Share November 21, 2015 I believe the i-Stop for a particular car brand functions the same across all models? No?? I haven't come across such a reaction on my Mazda like in your case with respect to how the i-Stop works. I haven't seen all the warning indication lights on when the i-Stop kicks in, whether the gear is in D, N or P. Should troubleshoot one more time before seeing the car mech ba. Hope it's a minor issue.

I asked the person at mazda while i was serivicing my car, he told me that likely is becoz my key was in my pocket at that point of time and 1)either my key went of of the "detection range" of the inner car OR 2)there was interference from somewhere when the iStop restart that cause the car to "immobilize" Shall monitor myself or try to duplciate again when i am very free Thanks to all for your feedback~ ☺

But if it's because the key left the car's detection range, that is really dangerous sounding. I was always under the impression that most cars that have keyless systems would only warn the users if the key went out of range. At least with mine, the car sounds the horn when it no longer detects a key - the engine remains on and can still be driven to some extent. If you can duplicate the issue, would be good... because key out of range sounds very hard to believe imo. Edited November 23, 2015 by 7hm
