I was involved in a chain collision. The car in front of me told me someone in front of him just e brake. I stopped in time but the car behind me didnt.

 

Within minutes, a friendly car appeared and said he was from so and so workshop and offered his services. Immediately, I know its staged and of course refused to use their services.

Oh my... LTA should install more cameras on the e'way... This is really too much.. if this happen like 4 times a month.. the annual claim will shoot up and the premium will go up again... and again...

I am writing regarding a very serious fraud carry out by Kim Chwee Auto Pte Ltd. I do not know will I be implicated into any legal issues by mentioning the alleged culprit, but I do have two case of staged accidents encountered by my family members, hence I do believe I have concrete proof to backup my claims.

 

My brother was involved in a accident, he bump into the rear of a limited edition Fiat. Kim Chwee Auto tow truck appear within minutes. In fact my brother was the 4th car and Fiat the 3rd, and the 1st car was the car that E-brake for no reason.

 

Coincidently, the Fiat driver was my brother friend's friend. Both of them are contacted by Kim Chwee Auto, and Kim Chwee Auto are using hard selling and aggressive selling pitch to selling their services, including discounts, waivers and vouchers which probably will be useless as the costs are flexible. My brother will be lodging a police report and to LTA as well, hopefully they can review their camera on the expressway. They cant possibly allow cars to E-brake for no reason.

 

Apparently, the insurance agents knew about Kim Chwee Auto, and they told my brother they are infamous for staging accidents. To all road users, please do take note, once this kind of incident occurs to you, settle your insurance first and find time to lodge police reports, for the sake of your family members and friends who drives as well.

 

The story did not just ends here. I was getting my cousin to help write into other forum and realised the 7 cars piled up he was involved in was staged as well. Everything was the same, car E-brake, cars rear-ended, and KIM CHWEE AUTO tow truck appeared. Unfortunately, my cousin gave into KIM CHWEE AUTO's aggressive tactic and gotten their service. Their service was disgusting, employees are arrogant, claims wasn't even settled yet.

 

Hope KIM CHWEE AUTO employees does not come to any good end.

 

Yup, my fren also told me KC are v infamous, its not within minutes of the accidents, more likely seconds they will be around to offer services..! Makes me wonder whether they station their staff at every 500m of the expressway..

 

Anyway, all pls drive safely..

not like it will stop those WS from doing all these..just drive safely and keep a safe distance and no tailgating.

 

the profit from each claim the WS undertake is very substantial..low damage can also raise to 5 figures! and the cost is passed on to all the other drivers who's paying the insurance premiums..these WS got no loss except plying the E-ways and petrol..talk abt good money [laugh]

One really effective way to NOT let these clowns profit is to use the workshop your insurance recommends.

 

And if you do suspect anything, declare in full to insurance company.

Anybody with $ to burn can get lawyer to issue letter for something. If you even more $, can get lawyer to issue letter for nothing also.

most of the company that deals with insurance claim are bloodddy suckers.

 

recently met with a minor accident and my insurance company says can go to any of their insurance listed recommended workshop or IDAC to do e-filing report.

i went to 1 of the recommend shop at AMK auto-point since the accident occurs at that area.

When i say 3rd party claim, the boss damn happy.....when i change my mind and said only for record purposes, the whole face sucks and changed 360.

I make a quick twist and took back my IC and all photocopy items and told the boss im not going to report.

after that, head straight to sin ming IDAC, which is so much times less pressureize than the suckerrs workshop.

 

That's why i always recommend private settlement.

even S$1000 is still cheap rather than have sleepless night for the next few months over the car accident and your insurance premium may suffer the next year.

Well, we have too many impatient drivers in this country who likes to tailgate. Choose any expressway, just go on the 1st (right most) lane, and ebrake, close two eyes also sure can get an accident one. Too many tail-gaters.

Refer to this thread regarding my accident.

 

Thinking back. Withins minutes after my accident. There are 2 'helpful' cars stop by and keep saying they have workshop nearby and keep psychoing the first car and the last car (3rd car) to go to their workshop which is nearby. (PIE near aljunied).

 

It was heavy traffic that time (5pm).

I was so pissed by those irritating 'helpful' workshop guys until i asked him sternly, whether he know anyone here and what the hell is he doing here.

 

He is very defensive and straight away said "No no no ! We dunno each other i just want to help !"

 

He never spoke to the 2nd car in the accident and just keep psychoing me and the first car.... F fishy.

 

Now i got a TP letter regarding injury from the 2nd car...
