    An uplifting story: Five years ago, a South American Magellanic penguin near death on an island beach near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Joao Pereira de Souza, a part-time fisherman, found the bird and nursed him back to health. Now, the penguin returns every year to visit the man.
