  1. I tried to start my car (Mitsubitshi Lancer EX with keyless entry) today but the knob wouldn't turn as the car didn't seem to be detecting the key which was in my pocket. After moving the key around the car to check if it was a bad spot, I got fed up and decided to use the spare car instead as I was running late. At this point, it seems like the sensor to detect the key was spoilt; I was sure that it wasn't the key that was spoilt because I managed to enter the car using the keyless function without any problem. When I came back, I tried using the manual key but the engine wouldn't start. Instead of starting, there was a weird electrical buzzing noice but it seemed nothing like what you'd heard if the battery were flat. After looking through the manual for 2-3 minutes, I tried starting the car again and somehow, it started PERFECTLY without any problems. I tried it a few more times and it worked like nothing was wrong in the first place. While I'm thankful that it is working now, I'm still concerned that something was wrong and I don't know what it is. As I'm always running around between appointments, I can't afford for the car to die on me suddenly. Any suggestions?
