  1. Any one can recommend contractor or company to install wood deck strips on patio? Patio size about 300 sq ft or less. Any tips on what kind of wood or material to use for our weather? I know there are real wood and WPC, and some other artificial material. I need something that doesn't retain heat and lesser maintenance fuss. Real wood will get discoloration over time? Must vanish regularly? What's the cost of the vanishing?
  2. anybody knows where to buy this in singapore?

  4. "Dear All Singapore Stuff, I just got my Punggol BTO flat and not long after I moved in, I noticed that the wooden door started to grow tiny white specks. After a few days, I start to see white "shitake" mushrooms growing out of my door! What is this rubbish that HDB installed in my house? Do they not know that mushroom have spores that can cause asthma and other respiratory ailments? Why is the quality of BTO flats now so poor, pathetic to the extent where mushrooms or fungi can grow at home. For those who are getting their new BTO flats, please check all your wooden doors for such growth. It is unhealthy for you and you need to complaint to HDB for them to change a new door for you!" 5. I bought some racks with shelves for my bomb shelter 1 year back. These shelves are made from MDF. After a few months, i realised that they keep having some dust flake off on the underside of the shelves and the smell is terrible especially in an enclosed storeroom. Basically all my items are partly covered by this dust and i really get irritated when i have to go inside to take something. No more MDF boards for me. Is this a common problem with people using MDF boards for their storeroom racks? Hence, I'm looking for suppliers of plywood shelves. You guys know any?

  7. Hrrrr.......i duno anything about fancy wooden door. So any wooden furniture expert bros here can comment on this door bor har ? Its the master bedroom door left behind by the ex-owner. Any complications with it ? I mean good or bad for feng shui ? Or just a door with merely good & bad taste. At first it looks damn scary to me........ma chima like EMPEROR DOOR! So old fashion! But slowly i accepted its looks and it looks quite ok to me over time. Im 50/50 on tearing it down tho. Quite a pity if need to tear it down. My agent said its imported from China. I see only leaves, bamboo, flower, mountain, vases, and maybe that bunch of round things are grapes....haha. I hope i dont see snakes in there, if got dragon still ok. haha.
  8. http://cars.uk.msn.com/News/car_news_artic...umentid=7598242 Power comes from a 4.6-litre V8 petrol engine, centrally mounted for perfect balance, and producing 600bhp The advantage of the wooden construction is weight; at 1,135kg the two-seater Splinter weighs 260kg less than the stripped-out Porsche 911 GT3, and will average 20mpg thanks to its slippery aerodynamic shape.
  9. Intending to buy one Altis Corrolla. However find the pricing for leather seats at $988 a bit stiff. Fitting not done by JS. May forgo leather but wanna know if there other better after sales packages out there. Also would like to have the wooden grain panels but doubt it could be done for basic entry models. Anyone know where I could get it done after sales and at what cost. Thanks in advance for help.
  10. I am thinking of using Klasse Vinyl & Leather protectant for dashboard & side doors vinyl trim. I am also thinking of using Zaino Z9 & Z10 for maintenance of the leather seats. Need advice from experts here : 1) Anyone tried Klasse Vinyl & Leather protectant for leather? Advisable? 2) I read from Cazcomp.com website & it seems that both Z9 & Z10 can be used for vinyl & dashboards too. So which is the more correct product to use for vinyl & dashboard? 3) Which of the above-mentioned products are safe & suitable for maintenance of those artificial "wooden" panels found in most Jap & Korean cars? Thanks in advance for any advice!
