The six men were attacked outside Rendezvous Grand Hotel along Bras Basah Road on Jan 31 at about 4.40am. They had gone for drinks at Club Password, a recently opened outlet with Korean and Taiwanese performers. One of the Korean performers took an interest in one of the Korean men and hugged him, apparently angering another table of local men. Read the full story in The New Paper on Tuesday (Feb 4). STOMPer Freakazoid, who sent in these pictures, said: "This is just horrible! "The pigs were seen bleeding from the torture. "It's uncertain if the pigs survived the ordeal. Home > Breaking News > Courts and Crime > Story Sep 22, 2008 Maid hit over milk powder By Elena Chong AN INDONESIAN maid who was allegedly abused by three members of a household told a district court on Monday that her employer punched and slapped her for taking milk powder and his toothpaste. Ms Susilawati Kusnata, 26, was hungry and took the milk powder but before she could eat it, her employer's mother-in-law, Teng Chen Lian, 67, found out. When her boss, Stanley Kuah Kian Chong, a bank executive, was told about it when he returned home that evening on July 4 last year, he punched her on the forehead and slapped her a few times. Ms Susilawati said she lost 15kg during her four-month employment with the family at Pasir Ris. By the time she ran away from the flat on July 5 last year by climbing out of the fifth-floor kitchen window, she weighed 38kg. Kuah, his wife, Looi Phooi Ling, 37, and Teng are on trial for abusing her between April and July 5. They face a total of 41 charges. The maid, who is not working now, testified that Looi had beaten her with hangers and a piece of wood. Once, Looi used a sponge to rub her face and she cried. She said Looi also used a wok cleaner to rub her lips so that she would not fall asleep while washing the plates. The court heard that when she first started working for the family, she had between six and seven hours of sleep, but after a month, she had to wake up at 3am as she had a lot of work to do. The trial continues. -------- Is it just me or the whole wayang scripted such this family is gg to Changi Hotel to stay soon? 10. MILAN (Reuters) - Italian referee Mauro Bergonzi was sent into hiding by police after thugs tried to attack someone he looked like, the head of the country's referees' association has said. Bergonzi awarded two contentious penalties in Napoli's 3-1 win over Juventus in October. "A dangerous incident happened. A group of people encircled someone they thought was a referee, they tried to abduct him and continually punch him. The only thing was he just looked like the referee," Cesare Gussoni told Friday's La Repubblica newspaper. "He was a bank manager, poor thing, and he managed to reveal this at the end to save himself from more blows. On the advice of the police, the referee was forced to live under protection and went to another province for two weeks." Former leading referee Pierluigi Collina, who now appoints officials for Italian games, has been sent bullets in the post and has been given a police escort as supporters' anger grows following a number of controversial decisions this season. Italy still remembers the 2006 match-fixing scandal, where Juve were demoted and other clubs had points deducted after being found guilty of procuring favorable referees for some matches. Meanwhile, Bulgarian referee Valeri Petrovski is recovering in hospital after being beaten up near his home in Sofia, police said Friday. "I was in the car, waiting for my wife, when two men attacked me with baseball bats and knuckledusters," Petrovski told reporters. The 43-year-old Petrovski, considered one of the country's leading referees, began officiating matches in the Bulgarian top division in 1996. 11. Hey guys... http://www.xxxxxxx.com/articles/article.p...pageid=1&view=1 I had the chance to drive it up to Cameron highlands with e R32, and I just had time to hammer out a less than decent review. The roads there all like those japanese touge found in japan...both simpang pulai and the tapah mountain passes...very good opportunity to whack the car upside down. It's ALOT better than the Golf GTi -drools- and easier to drive fast as compared to a WRX or EVO for lazy people like me...hehe....I hope for it to be my next car if I can afford it..it's a work of art
