Hi everyone i'm a relatively new driver.. just now at ard 7.20pm i turned left into the filter lane from clementi road to commonwealth avenue west into a bus lane and i realised that i could not filter into the outer lane due to the traffic jam. Bus lane restriction is until 8pm so i could not stay in the lane. i was slowing down, signalling right and trying to cut into 1 of the cars at my right to get out of the bus lane. Then i realised that there was a bus right behind me also slowing down as a result. Eventually i got out of the bus lane at ard 5 secs later but i'm afraid that it might be too late. I'm worried that i might be snapped by the camera in the bus. How high are the chances of me getting snapped ah? If i'm snapped, how long does it take for me to know ah? Will there be a flash if a bus snaps some1?

I'm nearly hit by a car because it made an illegal u turn along Scotts road, should I make report to traffic police to teach this driver a lesson? I got the car plate number SGU XXXX. Police would like to clarify that anyone may report a traffic violation at any police station, neighbourhood police centre or neighbourhood police post. We will investigate the violation accordingly and may request the complainant's assistance to testify in court where necessary. -
Guys, I searched everywhere, could not find information if bus lane violation would have demerit points? Got caught today, don't mind paying but demerit points would be bad for me. Anyone?
