So I had a wheel alignment issue where the car was drifting to the left. Decided to send it in for wheel alignment and all was well after that. But noticed a new issue where I was travelling at speeds of about 95 to 100kmh where the steering wheel was vibrating rather strongly. It starts to vibrate at speeds from about 80 onwards. Vibration is most strongly felt at about 100kmh where I can see my watch vibrating. Proceeded to do high speed wheel balancing where all 4 wheels/tires were done but seems like no difference. Any idea what else is wrong? Didn't get any vibration before wheel alignment. -
Driving a Nissan Sylphy. Lately I noticed a vibrating noise coming from the engine at low revs (intermittent) whenever the air-con is switched on. At higher revs, the vibrating noise disappears. Without the air-con switched on, there is no vibrating noise heard. Any idea what could be the problem? Is it serious? Car COE is expiring in May 2016, so I don't want to spend too much money on it.

Hi, I'm driving a Nissan Sunny Manual. Recently i start feeling my clutch, brake and pedal vibrating when i'm driving. The faster i go, the vibrating gets stronger. The vibration feels like the engine is rubbing against the pedals. I suspect could be the engine mounting, but i don't feel must vibratin on my steering wheels yet. What could be the problem ? Thanks.

It's those just vibratiing (they call it ultrasonic), no oscillation type. Got 1 of those, usually I would just brush as in like manual brushing. But last night thought maybe it was wong, so just let it vibrate on teeth, felt clean as well. But scare it maybe wrong and end up bo geh few weeks later. Anyone used 1 can advise?

Driving a 2006 FL Toyota Vios Auto. It started this week, my ride seems to have more vibration than ever, usually felt when above 80km/h, and when I depressed the accelerator more. Did Wheel Alignment, all wheel balanced. Did all 3 piece Engine Mounting replacement last month. Vibration not very noticeable/significant to my front passenger, but to me. Can be felt from the steering wheel and my chair. What could be the cause? -
My speedo meter once in a while will vibrate while driving. The needle fluctuates between 10-15km from the actual speed while I maintain the same speed. Now the needle broke from all that vibration. Wanted to replace needle but worried it will break again, any bro experience this b4 and know the cause?

MCFers pls help,my new car with me just barely 2 weeks.And now the wiper starts to jerk when use.Any solution?I reckon is the wax or whatever they polish on the roof of the car being washed down by the rain.

Hi all , have quite sometime never logon to the forum. Need some advise from you guys here. I can feels my latio brake pedal vibrating when i place my foot on it (speed over 70km/h.) Last Saturday went back to do my 5k servicing & inform them about it. Was told by the service adviser that the rotor need to be skim, & it can only be done during weekday. May I know what do they means by rotor need to be skim? is that ok that I get it fix during my next servicing (i.e 10k in about 3 mths time), as the car is perfectly alright & I'm unable to send my car back to them on weekday.

Recently, there is this vibrating sound keep coming out while driving. Sent to workshop , they cant locate the source. Today, as usual i hear the vibrating sound , i touched everywhere in the car trying to search the source . It stops where i press against the roof near the rear mirror . What could be wrong ???I tested few times and true enough, whenever i press up the roof , it vibrating sound stops. Any one can advise or help???

Hullo, Driving a Getz 1.6M. Above 100km/h the steering will begin to vibrate and by 120km/h it can get quite bad and uncomfortable for driving. Just rotated and balanced tires. Current tires is ST115 mileage about 32k already. Never mount kerb or strike kerb. Any solution to this problem? Thanks!

Hi all, am driving a 2001 impreza 1.6 manual recently i noticed that i can hear a bit of vibration from my gearbox when moving at speed more than 60-80km/hr when i hold on to the gear and push on it slightly, the vibration stop although it is not very loud,it is irritating when i dun on the radio and i am concern about safety can anyone advise if anything is wrong? thx in advance!

Hi guys, My 3yrs old Ignis is vibrating badly at speeds above 90km/h, the vibration can be felt by the hands(on steering wheel) and legs(on acclerator). Could it be due to worn tyres, balancing or alignment? The tyres are 3yrs old and have done 42K km. On a straight road, I have to steer slightly to the right or else the car will slowly veer to the left. The current size is 165/70/R14, can I fit a 195/65/14 tyre? Planning to visit the tyre shop at Tampines(the big shell petrol koisk), any comments on that place? How is their pricing? Thanks :)

hi all bros and sis do anyone have this effect after u change to coilover? mine do have this problem when car is stock(but kind of minor vibrate).. recently i change to coilover it become quite bad to the extend that i can't really c wat car is behind me do u guys knw how to minimize this problem????

had this problem for a while... especially when you brake harder on high speed. the steering wheel will jutter and vibrate. things got worse when I changed my front brake pads yerterday, now even braking at slower speed also can feel the vibration. is it becoz of the workmanship of the mechanic or is it becoz of some brake disc warp that i'm seeing in this forum? please advise me on how i shld proceed to solve this problem. i'm driving a 2-yr old corolla... still under warranty. can i get it serviced at borneo motor? wat's the cost? thx

Hi guys, I changed my wheels to 15" after which I experience vibrations from the steering wheel irregularly...on and off kinda thing. I bought the wheels at Yap Bros, but they did not seem very knowledgable, if all of the problem afflicting my steering. I went back to my regular tire mech at Stamford and he told me the original lug(nut) does not bit the wheel to the axle properly. New lugs will cost me $120 bucks. Actually wanted to do high speed balancing but he told me not to waste my money as the problem is with the lugs. Then I went back to Yap Brothers for a second opinion and they fix up new lugs at $35 bucks. But the problem still persists... I could tell that those people at Yap did not know why I had this problem.... they kept insisting that it shouldnt happen, even after I describe what my tire mech told me.(Maybe they dun understand??) I was told the lugs have to order one, so I have to wait.... anyone experienced anything similar?

Hi! I have some questions which I hope the experts here can help. I have changed my stock CAT to a sports CAT and also the rear muffler to a semi-flow SuperDynamics muffler. The car is more responsive and I like the set up except for the vibration which travels all around the car. My exhaust seems to be vibrating too much during idling at standstill with gear at "D" and stepping on the brakes. It is gone when I release the brakes and drive off. I've changed my engine mountings and also changed a longer flexible hose after the CAT. Still, the vibration is there. FK which did the job says that because the CAT is now flowing the exhaust much faster, the muffler is vibrating more. Some questions: Should I go back to the original stock muffler? Will increasing the diameter of the piping from the CAT back help? Will changing to a REMUS or SUPERSPRIT help? But this will be my last resort as it is rather expensive.
