Hi bros, can feel my car vibrating when at idle in the morning before moving off. This is even after the "engine temp cold" light goes off. After driving around for 5-10min and when at traffic light the car do not vibrate anymore, totally still, almost can't feel engine on. Is there some other fluids thats not warmed up yet tat cause the pre-move-off-at-idle vibration? Or is it time to change engine mount anyhow? Its a 1.6M Hyundai Getz.

Hi all, i drive Hyundai Avante. All was fine and great with the car till i hit a fist-size rock, which both left front & back wheels went over at around 90km/h, along PIE 1 month ago and nightmare starts. Damage is cracked rim and puncture tyre. After changing new rims and replace 2 new tyre (2 tyre can be reuse) and wheel alignment and balancing done plus 2x front suspension changed, i notice the car vibrates once hit 80km/h and the vibration fade away after 85km/h. Beyond 85km/h can still feel slight vibration. The vibration is felt most at seat (butt) area (nothing on steering wheel) and can be heard as a low humming noise like a out balanced air con compressor. Car mechanics said it's my gear box Read up on internet suggests drive shaft or CV joint worn out. Called to Komoco for diagnose will cost up to $180! Other than this high speed vibration, everything feel alright. Appreciate any advice, please.

bros, need help here, my steering wheel vibrates when i gently brake starting from 80-60, then it just disappears. this happens when even when i have driven for quite some time. beentold by my mechanic that it is ABS kicking in. but that does not happen when i pressed harder and braking from the same range of speed.

Recently, I discover that my engine will tremble and Vibrate before I shut off. Problem is, this issue doesnt occurs everytime. More likely to happen when I turn-Off the Aircon and engine still running. Gear in 'P' and it will trembles and Vibrates, RPM drops for that few seconds before it suddenly rev up again to prevent engine stalling. What could be the problem? I have my Plugs changed, Engine Oil renewed and Filiter change as well. Problem still persist. Could it be the sensors issue or Idling problems? Nothing of this sort happens when Gear is in 'D'

bros, my steering vibrates while i'm braking. what is the problem

steering wheel is juddering left and right slightly at all speeds. Judders faster and faster at higher speeds. Notices car also pulls to the left slightly. No unusual sounds heard. Any ideas if its the steering rack or wheel bearings or god forbid my shaft bent on its own? Have checked tyre pressures and my wheels were balanced after tyre rotation 10000km ago so i do not think its the tyres or the stock rims problem. mileage nearing 130k km mark now. any ideas anyone?

Well, most people have problem with vibrating steering wheel during high speed travel. But for me, the steering wheel vibrates when I slow down, not gradual slow, but immediate slow down. What could be the cause? Brake pads?

If the steering wheel vibrates when in excess of 120Km/h: a) is it a usual high speed balancing problem or b) is it because the front tyres are worn, (less than 20K lifespan)or c) is it because the rims are mis-aligned? What do you think? Thank you. Regards,

Hi, Just changed new set of wheels, did balancing & alignment. I noticed with these new set of tyres, as I accelerate to close 100km, I can feel my steering wheel vibrating. What are the probable causes? Car model:92'Nissan b13 1.5 ex-saloon.....

Hi there, My car starts to vibrate when I am driving more that 110km/h. This happens after I change my timing belt, oil seal, water pump. The vibration includes the steering wheel. I feel the floor of the driver seat vibrates too(I think). According to the service advisor, they have taken out my front wheel. Hence, I need to do the high speed balancing (on-wheel balancing). I wonder whether the service advisor is correct. Therefore, I would to seek your opinion. Cheers Sucker

Noticed the steering wheel vibrates when i apply on the brakes to come to a stop. It normally happens at the point when the car is coming to stop. Can this be due to warped brake discs or the wobbling of the wheels? Or uneven wear of the brake pads? Thanks.
