    Aug 9, 2007 Son saved man's life but lost belongings AT 2 AM on Sunday, my son dived into the Singapore River to rescue a drowning man. Before doing so, he removed his shirt, wallet, shoes, spectacles and mobile phone. After rescuing the man, who almost dragged him down, he found all his belongings missing. The man he rescued gave him $50 but he had no shirt and was dripping wet. An ambulance took the man to hospital but no taxi driver would take my son home.
