Uprooted trees crushes parked car, lamp post and altars along Dickson Road, Clive Street Heavy rainfall on Monday uprooted several trees which fell and crushed a parked car, a lamp post and a few altars along Dickson Road near Clive Street. Efforts to clear the road of massive tree trunks, some of trees that used to stand two or more storeys tall were still underway when The Straits Times visited the scene on Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses said the tress fell after the area was hit by strong winds and heavy rain in the evening but no one was reported injured.
