Just now got YOG food shown to be crap for volunteers. Now my friends who are volunteers and live in boonlay/jurong have been ordered to take bus/mrt even though they have duty at east coast park on consecutive days? they have to report there by 7 and YOG hq refuses to reimburse taxi fares even if the taxi is pooled?? YOG hq insists that public transport is what should be taken. this is ridiculous. volunteers are being treated like dogs.

Hey peeps I encountered an incident a couple of nights ago that I wish to relate to you guys. I was at a major T-junction in Yishun and I wanted to turn right so I waited for the oncoming traffic to be clear. When it was clear and I checked that there were no pedestrians who were crossing the road that I was entering into as well as the walking green man had changed to a standing red man, I turned into the road but alas there were two cyclists who were crossing the road! Hence I tapped my horn and they stopped. I went into the road unscathed but as I was going past them, one of them actually showed his middle finger to me! I was taken aback. My question here is if they are crossing the road like that as a vehicle be it a car/bus/lorry/motorbike then I suppose I'm at fault. But they are bicycles who should be treated as pedestrians isn't it? So is it my fault that I didn't give way since they are oncoming? Please advise and thanks!
