Dear all, As part of the Singapore Bikes Forum Anniversary, NTU Riders Club is organizing a charity bike wash which will be held at *scape from 15-16 Jan 2011. All proceeds will goes to the Spastic Children's Association of Singapore (SCAS). As there are quite a number of volunteers, I wish to ease their job of drying the bikes faster so that more bikes can be washed.... Meaning = More bikes washed equal to more money to proceed to SCAS. Henceforth, i wish to collect 4 used Waffle Weave Drying Towel from any car owners who aren't using it or willing to give/lend. If u wish to have the towel back after 16 Jan, please kindly let me know so that i can send it back to u. Please kindly contact me at 92745438 so that i can go over and collect it and pass it to them on Sat morning. U may refer to the link below for proof. :) http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showt...-Bike-Wash-2011

Just curious if any of u fellas actually use the towels to wipe your faces? I, for one, would not even let it anywhere near my face. Have seen people use em to blow noses, wipe feet, arm pits, spit into em etc. Yucks. These towels are recycled. I only use em wipe my handphone screen......

Moi was poking around emart when I noticed the SAF towels are microfibre. Out of curiosity, I used it to dry my car and it managed to suck up all the water on a mid sized hatch without me needing to squeeze it dry even once. It also removed all the water in 1-2 wipes. My mistake was to use the entire towel because it became a bit heavy and unwieldy when wet. I reckon you should be a ble to cut 8 small pieces from a standard towel.

Not sure hv anyone try the both the Autoglym Chamois Leather or Mictopak WW drying towels? Which is better in term of absorbing water and lesser scratch? Current i am using the Autoglym Synthetic Chamois Leather .. find it quite good but wl also like to try out the WW dring towel ...
