Vezel driver makes illegal U-turn and gets instant karma

Ouch. That must have hurt quite a bit for the Honda Vezel driver. Spotted on various Facebook group is this video of a Honda Vezel doing an illegal u-turn at the junction of Telok Blangah Road and Sentosa Gateway on 26Nov 2020. Unfortunately for this Vezel driver, a Singapore Police Force Patrol car was among the cars that had the right of way and needed to avoid the crossover. Naturally, the SPF patrol car turned on its siren and stopped the Vezel immediately... So what can we learn from here? Like what your Army Encik says, if you insist of not following the law, just make sure you don't get caught... -
Here is something slightly more light-hearted as we head into the weekend... It is not often you can end up sitting on top a car after you have been in a crash but this is what happened to this particular Grabfood rider. As can be seen from the video posted by SG Road Vigilante on the 8th of October 2020, a Toyota Prius+ failed to stop at the Stop line of St Patrick's Rd. Inching onto Telok Kurau Rd without checking for traffic, a poor Grabfood rider could not avoid the Prius+ and crashed into it. Again, we must apologise, but to find the rider on top of the car after the crash did bring some smiles to our faces.

By Melody Zaccheus SINGAPORE - A reservoir the size of three badminton courts dating back to 1905 has been discovered by the National Heritage Board. Located off Telok Blangah Road, and not marked out in maps today, it served as a source of water for the Tanjong Pagar Dock. The reservoir, which is an oasis of calm and a green pocket in the built up area, also used to be a swimming pool during the Japanese Occupation, according to Japanese maps of Singapore. Remnants of a diving board and a bathing area still stand today. The place, known to some as the Keppel Hill Reservoir, made the news when two soldiers and a 17-year-old boy drowned there on two occasions in 1936 and 1948. The 2m deep pool of water, which has a working filtration system today, was discovered by a team of researchers from the board in February. The team spent four months piecing together more details about the site from old maps and news stories. Hi All, Helping my colleague, who was posted to China. 27th Jan 2014, 8.27am, Telok Blangah Rd outside SPC. A motorbike crashed into a prime mover. Deceased was the son of my colleague. My colleague flown back from China and is now busy preparing the funeral. At the same time, he is curious to know what exactly went wrong. TP can't provide much information and hence I'm here seeking help. We do understand that there was video posted on Youtube, but was later removed. Please PM me should you have any information. Guys, beware of TP on overhead bridge with camera along Telok Blangah Road going towards Pasir Panjang Road. Location is the first overhead bridge after Henderson Rd junction. TP hiding behind a corner board on the bridge and aiming the camera at the back of cars instead. I had been caught speeding earlier last year but that time the TP was aiming in the on-coming direction. Now they have opted to hide behind the board and shoot u from behind instead. Usually in the morning around 9am and used to see a police van parked before the bridge however today the van was not there but TP was up on the bridge with camera aiming. Have been very careful every morning travelling there after my ticket. So watch your back and slow down before and after the overhead bridge. You have been warned!!!!

To the owner of the black toyota camry parked in lot 155 in front of Blk 66 Telok Blangah Drive this morning (12 July 08). I saw a black toyota Rush banged into your front left fender at 10.45am today when he was trying to park his car head-in. After hitting, he reversed and drove further down the road to park at lot 68, probably to run away from his crimes yet trying to remain composed. I had initially wanted to leave a note on your car to inform you about the incident but you had left before I managed to get to your car. Apparently, there are visible scatches on your fender... not sure about dent though... The car plate number of the black Rush is SDA281C and it is still parked at lot 68 at this moment. Do PM me if you need an eye witness.

I saw this beaufiful RX7 Efini (FD3 I believe) at Telok Blangah SPC Station undergoing hand wash by the Bangla just 20 minutes ago while walking my husky. It was beautifully kitted with big beautiful rims (looks like 18 inchers to me). To the owner ---> if you happen to be in this forum... you have one fanfokkingtastic tastefully done up sports car! Very nice and I was standing there admiring it until you walked up. Sorry if I offended you in any way. Very nice car!
