Hougang by-election to take place on May 26 Published on May 9, 2012 Hougang voters will go to the polls on May 26 in a by-election to fill former Workers' Party MP Yaw Shin Leong's seat in Parliament. The writ of election was issued today by the President, stating that Nomination Day will be on May 16, after which nine days of campaigning will commence. Despite rampant speculation, PM Lee did not call for a by-election in any other constituency, limiting it to Hougang's 25,000 voters. The Hougang seat became vacant after Mr Yaw was expelled from the WP on Feb 14 for refusing to account to the party leadership for his behaviour, including allegedly having extra-marital affairs.

I am watching the game now on tv. I see quite a lot of iraqi supporters..wonder if they actually flew down to support them or there are already quite a few of them working in singapore. Or are they locals??????????????????????????

Saw in the papers that there were people dressed in red standing along the roads in geylang cheering them on as they rode by in their open top buses... Since when Singaporeans so free and boliao? I can understand if it is say, the national football team or a true local athlete winning a major honour but FTs??? I think highly possible most of these supporters are "fake", if not I am sure the papers and TV would be splashing it all out.

As usual,got to look forward for next season .everytime the starts of the season looks promising,but come to mid ,everything goes down. lets see any players worth staying and which new players to get for RB.by the way,sad to say,riise got to go.....
