  4. Any suggestions from any bros out there? Would the generic power steering fluid that petrol kiosks sell be suitable? I saw from my car manual that it should be WSS-M2C204-A2 type. Any suggestions for similar / eqivalent? Thanks in advance!
  5. I am looking for an e throttle controller cause I find the throttle laggy but can't find any brands that could fit the car. Anyone knows if there are any e throttle controllers meant for the Satria Neo or Proton cars?

  7. I was toying with the idea of downsizing from an MPV to a large sedan. I have been looking around and have not really found a sedan suitable for 5 adults. It seems that they are always designed for 4 or 4.5. Anyone knows why?
  8. Land is expensive in SGP. Maybe sports which require the least square meter per player are more suitable as they take up less land? A big soccer field only allow less than 30 players (including referees). Badminton takes up less space per player compared with soccer. Table tennis does even better than badminton. On the other hand, if we include the handcounts of spectators, soccer is not too bad. Golf takes up lots of space per player. Fishing especially indoor ponds is not too space-consuming. The best (ie least space) is computer games? Talking about golf, even though MCF may have golfers, personally i feel for a tiny island, we have too many golf courses. Part of the land currently occupied by Laguna / Tanah Merah golf course was supposed to be used for a F1 track way back.
  9. Due to some reason, can't celebrate V-Day tomorrow. So, instead, will do it this friday. Was thinking of ordering Italian take away (good ones. Maybe La Strada. Something along that line) and a bottle of wine. Put down a mat and spend the (or most of) night there. Which part of east coast better for this? Thanks.....

  11. Hi all. I have a on the way in jan. i've been looking around at all the baby stuff i need, and i find myself a little confused by child seats. Most models i see seem too large to fit a newborn; they look like their size is meant to accommodate above a year old where the child can at least be propped upright. their seat straps also look like will be way too loose. Or am i wrong about this? Do these seats really one size fits all including newborns? Anyone with experience to share much appreciated. Also interested in secondhand child seats with reasonable price if anybody willing to let go, particularly a clean example that the owner confirms can fit a newborn. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hi, I can't seem to find any threads pertaining to the above topic. I understand that CSII supposed to protect our original paint as well as to give our car a pro-longed shine. But I also wish to apply products as toppers to "bead" rain droplets and reduce watermarks. So far, i have used Duragloss Quick Detailer to remove dirt Duragloss Aquawax to give it a wax shine (not sure if bonds properly because my car is white) I'm also looking for some products to prevent dust from "settling" easily on my car and to make my cleaning less tiring. Any advices from Bros & Sistas here? Thanks! btw: What do u recommend for normal glass cleaner? (except Rain Repellers which may affect my wipers)

  23. Hi all, In view of the upcoming oil change, I have reviewed the requirements for the engine oil to be used on the Superb. The information can be found in: - Page 211 of the Superb owner's manual ("Inspecting and Replenishing") - Page 5 to 11 of the Service Schedule I believe all the Superbs sold here are specified with the QG1 service interval. To see which service interval your Superb is specified with, follow the procedures: - Turn to Page 0 "Vehicle Data" of the Service Schedule - Look for the bottom leftmost 3 alpha-numeric code. The code will indicate which service interval your ride is specified with. According to the Owner's Manual and Service Schedule, engine oils fulfilling the VW 503.00 specification should be used in oil changes (Page 211 of manual, Page 9 of Service Schedule). Specifications of the VW503.0x oils are as follows. VW 503.00 This is a relatively new oil specification for petrol engines with variable service intervals. It includes the AUDI S4, but not the RS4, or the TT and S3 with outputs of more than 180bhp. Viscosity rating: SAE 0w-30 VW 503.01 A new oil specification specifically for the RS4, and the TT and S3 with outputs of more than 180bhp, Passat W8 and Phaeton W12. Viscosity rating: 0w-30 Source: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/technical-g...ons-here/22016/ More information on the VW503.0x oils which are available (non-exhaustive list). http://www.vagsg.com/forums/viewtopic.php?...8&highlight=503 Based on the specifications of the Mobil 1 silver and Shell Helix Ultra engine oils that CA has been using, they do not fulfil the VW503.0x specifications. The VW503.0x specifications cover the weight 30 engine oils. To prevent premature sludge formation due to improper use of engine oil, I'd recommend that you consider bringing your own VW503.00 (weight 30 oil) when you go for oil change either at CA or other VAG workshops. One of the most well-received VW503.00 specified engine oil to date in US is the Castrol Syntec GC 0W-30. If you are keen, I can organise a Group Purchase for this oil for our Group. http://www.castrol.com/castrol/genericarti...ntentId=6006933

  25. sifu, i am having Alpine : Component SPX-177R Peak Power: 300W RMS Power: 75W Frequency Response: 35Hz - 60kHz Subwoofer SWR-1222D Power Handling (Peak): 1500W Power Handling (RMS): 500W Frequency Response: 24Hz - 500Hz Nominal Impedance: 2Ohm+2Ohm Just dont know which amp is suitable to power them. I`m going into SQ, if i will allocated S$700 for a 4-channel amp to drive the front and sub, which amp can be in my list? my HU got no RCA output, and because it is on dashboard HU and with steering remote control, so i will not change the HU. Due to this, the amp with speaker level input will be my choice. else, i will need a RCA converter for the amp rite? could it cause cancelation of HU signal? at first thinking of Alpine MRV-545, but ppl say Alpine amp is bit bright and not suitable for SPX-177R, don know what they mean. And, it is not speaker level input amp. and regarding amp, that SPX-177R frequensy respond is 35Hz-60KHz, if my amp which is having of frequency respond of 50Hz-30KHz, is it not suitable?
