Hi Anyone subscribe above package which consist of 16Mbps home broadband plan + up to 21 channel cable TV + Home phone line? Reason i ask is because i sign up recently after a good sales talk told me that my existing plan of paying $60+ (16Mbps home broadband + Home phone line) can be upgrade to above with only paying another $5+ more.. so without any doubt, i sign for the $62.06/month plan. But this month bill shown that they are charging me cable TV & Maxonline separately and my total bill are $105!!!! and the promotion price was not even shown on the bill.. Anyone can advise what's happening ?? too bad their billing department closed for the day....

Hi all, I find the fixed/land line at home irrelevant these days apart from broadband usage. When the phone rang at home, no one even bother to pick up the phone . Regards,

recently see many ad about subscribe st and get some gift. i just wonder, why sph only promote the subcribe thing and not improve about how if there is a dispute " i did sent...., I did not get the paper". i mean there is should be better system to prevent this kind dispute. for me, if there is dispute, it is like sph only listen "i did sent" but never from customer side "I did not get the paper". anyone here experience same thing?

Dear folks, Thinking of subscribing to a mobile broadband plan. I am a light user. Which is the most value-for money option currently available? There is no need for me to use the mobile broadband from Monday to Friday as I have access to internet in office. I typically need the mobile broadband on the weekends as I need to do some light work, reading/sending emails and surf the net using my notebook computer. What is the best plan for my requirement? Thanks!

What a crab for soccer fans over here. Next season EPL and European - 'Champion League' will be telecast over at 2 different service providers .......  StarHub (SH) for EPL and SingTel (ST) MIO TV for Champion League. Furthermore, prices for subscription to EPL at SH will also be increased for next season. Was comtemplating whether to subscribe for another provider (MIO TV) or cancel current one (SH) and rely on newspaper if they going to increase the price too much...... Another alternative is watching from my house coffee shop downstair over a cup of 'Teh-si' provided they continue to subscribe to cablevision for next season.......

From STI: ERP payment with credit card >Forgot to insert your CashCard into the IU (in-vehicle units)? Didn't top your CashCard before passing through the gantry? Fret not - from Nov 5, motorists will have an alternative mode of payment for ERP charges via their credit cards. Drivers who subscribe to a new credit card scheme to be able to use all Visa or MasterCard credit cards from any bank of their choice to pay their ERP charges through their monthly credit card bills. This new scheme comes at a monthly subscription fee of $2.50. Motorists who wish to enjoy the new credit card scheme must first subscribe online to the scheme via the One.motoring or MotorPay websites at http://www.onemotoring.com.sg and http://www.motorpay.com.sg respectively. Those who are successful in their application will no longer need to insert their stored-value CashCards into the IU when they drive through ERP gantries as the ERP charges incurred will be charged to their monthly Visa / MasterCard credit card bills. However, they can still choose to pay the ERP charges using their stored-value CashCards, if they wish to, by having a CashCard inserted into the IU. Such ERP transactions incurred will be excluded from the monthly credit card bills. This initiative is made possible by a partnership between LTA and DBS Bank as the payment partner for the service.

Monday 13-10-08 - installation appointment 9 - 11am Never arrive in time - arrived at 1115am Upon setting up, never teach how to use (of course, i know), just leave very quickly. Before signing the package, told the sales guy, that we will install trunking instead of the Home plug (wiseless - PCL) On the day of installation, never come and install the trunking, instead wants to sell me the Home plug for $53+ Ok, i leave the LAN cable on the floor, arrange SAT to install the trunking. Day 2 of usage... Everytime i surf net using Wi-Fi, the Mio box will mute after surfing about 15 mins or more. No way to recover the audio, even i turn off my Wi-Fi. Restart the Mio Box, once awhile can resume the audio, however, once awhile will mute. Next appointment SAT 18-10-08 Trunking guy 4 to 6pm Technical guy 4 - 6pm Only trunking man arrive in time, i waited for the technical guy (installer) till 6 pm, no sign of arrival. I have call customer service and complain, and order them to get the installer to call me within 10 mins time, no reponse. 605pm, after leaving my mum's home, he called me but i was driving, so i could not pick up the call, moreover, the service they give me is unacceptable. Late in appointment, and whatever i have told to the customer service, all not synchronized. Really disappointed. I am going to terminate by force and i wont compensate them the penalty. Due to the appointment, i just took 2 hrs off, and due to their lateness, i have force to take half day leave. Also make me spent my time waiting on sat which there is nothing done.
