  4. for a start, i m always sceptical abt tis product but aft installing it, i now tink differently. for sure, it don increase e brake pressure. But e firm feeling on e brake pedal is felt immediately. Gone is e soggy brake feel on my mpv as e hose no longer "bloat" as compared to stock. Reason for mi chge is: had to brake real hard on 1 occasion n e brake feel was less reassuring as i felt e sponginess on e pedal. Anyway it din cost mi a bomb n really felt it was $$ well spend

  7. The usage of advanced materials to cut vehicle weight has been rapidly increasing nowadays. Many automakers have started using materials such as aluminium, carbon fibre and carbon fibre reinforced plastics on their new models. Nissan has recently announced that they will initiate a new plan which will radically reduce vehicle weight over the next few years. The Japanese auto firm's plan will involve the usage of high strength steel in up to twenty five percent for all new vehicles. The usage of high strength steel in the automotive industry is nothing new and it has been proven that it could save unnecessary weight. But the usage of high strength has been very limited. This is due to it being very difficult to mould into complex shapes. And many automakers have chosen other materials in order to reduce vehicle weight. Nissan has developed a new 1.2 GPa ultra high strength steel which retains all the structural benefits of ordinary high strength steel but it offers a higher degree of formability and greater elongation. This will allow it to be used for parts which have complex shapes. Additionally, the company also mentioned that their current production lines are able to be modified to use the new high strength steel without any additional major upgrades. The company will start using the new material in 2017 and this will reduce vehicle weight by fifteen percent.

  10. As automakers try to achieve better fuel efficiency, they are looking for ways to reduce overall vehicle weight. General Motors has taken what could be a game changing decision by investing in NanoSteel, a leader in nano-structured steel materials design. The new steel alloy technology offers unique material characteristics that are not currently available today that will reduce vehicle weight and increase fuel economy. David Paratore, President and CEO of NanoSteel, said that the new material is stronger yet easier to form than conventional automotive steel. Additionally, the new alloy can be formed using conventional steel processes and no new welding techniques or machines are needed. More importantly, NanoSteel claims huge weight-saving advantages. "We're not talking about saving grams. We're talking about saving kilograms," said Paratore. GM Ventures LLC, a subsidiary of General Motors, is hoping that the investment in the nano-structured steel material designs will have a widespread impact on the auto industry.

  14. In summary it is about a boy, his fighting robot and trying to bond with his irresponsible father. It has lots of cool robots, great fighting sequences, a human story, and a david vs goliath finale. Even though the robots are just machines, the director makes it seem like they have a touch of self awareness. So when they get whacked, you really "feel the pain" Sometimes it is touching, sometimes it is funny but overall very entertaining. Can bring your kids to watch too. Atom (ah boy's robot) Zeus (Final opponent) Some other robots

  16. I'm driving an eurovan, on 14" stock PCD 100x4. I recently aquired a set of 15" steels, same PCD specs, ET not too far off. Problem is, the centrebore different. My van has got centrebore of 57.1mm, whereas the steels i got is 56.6mm (from an Opel). Does anyone know of a place where i can get the centrebore shaven just a wee bit? Did heard of a place years ago where there do "inverted steels" or what they called in uk, banded steel rims. Found on some tricked out Hiace/Liteace vans.
