Anyone here uses steam iron, the type which doesn't need ironing board? How effective is it? Can it replace those type which needs ironing board? I don't need straight iron lines on my clothes, just need to remove wrinkles.

Anyone using or used this before? Thanks in advance.

Anyone can recommend a useful and practical steam cleaner to clean the oily kitchen floor daily? My mum likes to fry fish and stuff. Making the kitchen and the floor and walls very sticky. Looking for a steam cleaner, as today I saw the H20 X5 Mop, being advertised on Tv for $199. Thinking of getting it. But before I do, just need to seek some advise and review from anyone who has used or experiences with such steam cleaner. Any models or recommendation?

Hi, I have this problem here. Today i send my car for regular servicing. When my mechanic release the oil cap ( where the engine oil is poured into via that opening ). I can see steam coming out from that opening. My mechanic says that it is due to the heat cannot disperse properly through the engine vent. That why it is giving off steam. The reason is that the outlet has been choked and he say to rectify this, he has to take the engine apart and wash off the (OIL WHICH HAS BEEN TURN SOLID) so that the engine can breath properly. He also say that it a kind of engine overhaul. See what spare parts need to changed, for example : Piston ring ... etc etc ..........He say the total cost will be around $1200 to $1500 (depending on the spare parts he changes. Do you guys recommend to go for a overhaul ( since my car is nearing 10 years ) and COE has been extended for another 10? If you guys recommend , what will be the cost ? AGAR AGAR Which workshop will be a good place to change ?

I installed Steam programme, but it started to update when i click on it to start the programme. The problem is, its stuck at 0% and after a while. Its mention Steam is Temporary unavailable. Did a google, i realise that its a major problem facing ppl who is using Vista and Windows 7. Anyone here know how to tackle this problem??

alrite..i've receive complaint that my recaros are "dirty". they looked clean to me but probably trap too many dust over the time and pple wif sensitive skin find their skin to be alittle itchy after seating. Hi Fellow MCFers, Recently just bought the Steam Cleaner for household use. Under the instructions, it can also be used for car rims. I thought of using it to clean my rims to get rid of some stubborn stain and dust. Just wondering if the high temparature (100 Celsius) would be damaging to the tyres and suspension systems? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
