Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Spotted, Brings Wagons Into The Electric Era Porsche is continuing the development of the Taycan Cross Turismo, the electric model’s upcoming wagon variant, at the Nurburgring. The long-roof version of the electric Porsche Taycan was seen being driven quite hard on the German track, with the test car said to be the range-topping Turbo S model because of the characteristic wheel design. Despite Porsche having already revealed the Taycan in full production guise, the Cross Turismo model still retains most of the plastic cladding on its body, including the fake headlight and roof line covers. Porsche’s intentions of adding a second bodystyle to the Taycan range became official back in 2018 with the reveal of the Cross Turismo concept, which posed as a crossover-styled wagon featuring extra body cladding and a raised ground clearance. Customers will be offered pretty much the same powertrain options with the regular Taycan, which as of now starts from the base 4S, the 4S Performance Battery Plus, the Turbo and the Turbo S models. All versions feature two electric motors, one per axle, for all-wheel drive and a two-speed transmission mounted at the back. Performance should be on par with the regular Taycan, which on the range-topping Turbo S version offers up to 750 HP (761 PS) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque on overboost, along with a neck-snapping 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds (0-100km/h in 2.8) and a top speed of 161 mph (260 km/h). As with almost every wagon variant available in the market, the upcoming Taycan Cross Turismo is expected to offer a much more practical (and larger) luggage space, together with slightly more room for the heads of rear passengers. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is expected to launch in the end of 2020, and if you find yourself wondering how the final product will look like, just take a look at the 2018 concept.

This is supposedly the 3rd generation XC90, which Volvo decided to give it a name change to signify the switch to all electric drive train. Earlier reports, however, suggested that the model, which it is said will blend SUV and sedan design elements, will be named Embla, after the first woman in Norse mythology. Next-Gen Volvo XC90 EV Design Allegedly Revealed In Patent Images In any case, Volvo announced in February that it would be keeping the XC90 around for a few more years. The SUV that heralded the brand’s modern revival will continue to be produced in Torslanda, Sweden, after a visual update.

OK, I am going to try out a new series of posting, under the [Spyshots] tag. Please note that photos posted in these thread may not resemble the final product, as well as not gotten details confirmed by the manufacturer, so do take it with a pinch of salt.

Audi is developing a replacement for the Audi TT sports car, which has been on the market since 1998. The first prototype mules have been caught, and here they're joined by illustrations showing how the final TT may look when the new coupe is shown at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new model will keep the same Deco-fabulous styling, but will grow somewhat to bestow its passengers with more interior space. The radical new front grille from the A8 and A6 will be adapted. And the coupe will also feature a retractable rear spoiler for more downforce. Once again the new Audi TT will be available with either front-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel drive. Power will come from various transversely mounted in-line four-cylinder and V-6 engines. A super-sporty TT RS version is said to be in the pipeline, too, as a rival against the likes of Mercedes SLK AMG or the M-version of BMW's Z4. The roadster TT will show up a year after the debut of the coupe.

Thanks to Magfocus for alerting me to this article http://www.channel4.com/4car/gallery/spysh...ia-vrs/vrs.html Skoda revised its Octavia range late last year, but hot vRS versions of the new model have been slow to arrive. They'll be launched by the end of the year, however - probably at the Frankfurt show this autumn - and as seen in these pics, they'll come in Combi estate form as well as five-door hatchback bodystyles. The new vRS will feature the 200bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, with FSI direct-injection technology, as in the Volkswagen Golf GTI. High-performance diesel vRS models, with the VW Group 160bhp 2.0 TDI engine - also to appear in the Golf GTI - are also on the way. Even as Mitsubishi is undergoing a major rescue plan at home, engineers in the States have been busy testing the next Eclipse. Code name PS24S, the 2006 Eclipse is shown here looking considerably larger than the current model, and with styling cues taken from the Eclipse-E Concept which was first shown at the NAIAS this past January. Based on the Galant platform, the next Eclipse will arrive in time for the 2006 model year. The Galant, the Eclipse, and the Endeavor crossover ute are based on Mitsu's "Project America" platform; the Galant and Endeavor are built at the Mitsubishi facility in Normal, Illinois , where the Eclipse will be assembled as well.
