Singapore Starts Cleaning Up Oil Spill After Two Ships Collide "Singapore deployed anti-pollution craft and patrol vessels to clean up an oil spill caused by the collision of two bulk carriers. About 100 metric tons of fuel oil leaked after a bunker tank on the South Korean-registered Oriental Pioneer was damaged in the collision with the Bahamas-registered Atlantic Hero, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore said in a statement. The accident occurred about 6.6 kilometers (4 miles) south-west of Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, it said today. No one was injured and port operations and traffic in the Strait of Singapore are unaffected, the authority said. The two vessels are now anchored. A total of 10 patrol and anti-pollution craft have been deployed to clean up the oil spill. The authority is coordinating the action with other government agencies and ship owners, it said in the statement. The Oriental Pioneer is beneficially owned by Tokyo-based Nippon Yusen K.K. Overpumped petrol just now some petrol spill to car body. got strong smell. Tried to clean it but slightly dirty (like grease). How to clean ah? thanks!

As above, had a (major) coffee spill earlier this morning in the car. On the passenger side, the seat, dashboard, armrest, car mat, aircon vent, passenger door all got coffee. Tried cleaning the affected areas with water and a towel. However, dont think its effectively cleaned, can still smell coffee. Seat is white gray in colour. What more can I do? Send to car wash? If so, need to do so asap? Any recommendations near Shenton Way?
