Hi, you be the judge to decide this . . . I went to this ICE shop A, ask the boss if he provides labor to install my set of car alarm into this car. I also request to add a shock sensor & confirms payment if both works fine. The boss agreed & assigned his guys to work on it & never paid any effort of supervision then. I was with his guys during the process and even warn them about other gadgets. 2.5 hours later, I saw them testing with the remote & works fine with lock/unlock, timer lock, remote start etc. So I went off to get a drink. When I came back, I was shocked that the guy cut off completely another module box from the car. He assured me that he can fix it back. Another hour, I noticed another guy unscrewed the car alarm unit to sniff with his nose. Later, I saw the boss giving instruction to fix back the original alarm instead. Then the boss told me that I shud have told his guy about that module he cut off earlier, and that any compensation shud be between me & him. He also said that his shock sensor cannot work with my alarm and decided not to proceed. I was of cos shock & furious. The boss then told me to name a price for his guy to pay me, & let him know if they dun. WTF, what kind of boss is this!!! I told him that I only settle payment with him & I only recognise his shop's name, not his guys. The boss told me nothing was done to the alarm. Its only that extra original gadget that was cut off from the car. I pity his guys to have such a boss & finally settled with only $50 for compensation on that cut module and loss of 4 hours with them. 2 days later, I went to another shop to install back that cut module and also the abovementioned alarm. After 2 hours of trials, the cut module was fine now. But the car alarm - both remote & alarm has no response at all! All functions mentioned above failed!!! Its kapoot, in short. This whole unpleasant incident causes me hours of inconvenience and unncessary cost to detect a spoiled alarm which was previously working fine! So shud I condemn this shop?
