TL:DR – A Mercedes GLA brake checks a cam car driver for high beaming him. Cam car driver’s wife then explodes into a 3-minute lecture and telling off while the tunes of Baby Shark drone on repeat in the background. Poor cam car driver cannot catch a break. We’ve all had bad days in our lives. But what this cam car driver just went through, is a winner. Watch this 6min+ video to find out what I mean. The important bits are from the start to about the 3min 20second mark So let’s list down how the cam car driver’s day gets from bad to worst The domino effect starts with the GLA Rear footage from the cam car shows us a black GLA behind cam car that filters to lane 2 on the KPE, accelerates to overtake cam car and abruptly cuts into cam car’s path. This causes the cam car driver to high beam the GLA. Resulting in a short brake check game. The lecture begins For those who don’t understand Mandarin, I’ve summarized the main points for you. The wife’s point of view The husband deserved it Their kid was in the car Singaporeans don’t like to get high beamed Her husband high-beamed intentionally Her husband was driving too slowly (LOL) The GLA gave ample space before cutting into cam car’s lane The husband’s point of view This is a safety issue The GLA did not signal Their kid was in the car. Not signaling and changing lane is dangerous When we list them out like that, the wife starts to make a very compelling argument. 'Rabak' cyclist berates driver for not spotting him at zebra crossing

Here's something that happened in Fernvale you have to see. According to this minute-long dashcam footage, on 2nd May 2021 at 8:51pm, a driver is seen turning left into Fernvale Link and stopping at the last minute when he realised that there was an oncoming cyclist at the zebra crossing. Despite giving way to him, the cyclist glares at the driver, stops in the middle of the zebra crossing and gets off his bicycle to hurl vulgarities at the driver (we presume according to his aggressive gestures). The poor driver waits for him to finish before completing the left turn and continuing his journey. After watching this video, my heart goes out to the driver as I understand the pains of driving at night. Firstly, it's already dark so it's harder to notice pedestrians and cyclists from afar. Then, there's the issue of the cyclist not having a front light and wearing dark clothing, which makes him harder to spot. Lastly, even when the driver stopped in time, he still kena scolded. Netizens have also taken to the comments to defend the driver and flame the cyclist: With one guy even suggesting that the driver should have just continued driving: What do you guys think? Is the driver in the wrong or is the cyclist just another 'entitled loudmouth'? -

Just when you thought that things could not get any more ridiculous, Singaporeans will never fail to disappoint. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you today's magic trick: a cyclist with a death wish. It's pretty jaw-dropping even if I say so myself. What went down Despite this video only being 46 seconds long, I re-watched it no less than 30 times! While all the cars on the 5-lane junction wait patiently for the lights to turn green, this cyclist shoots pass the red light onto oncoming traffic adjacent to the five lanes. Like everyone in the office who watched the video, I thought he wouldn't make it, but somehow, he did! Just to clarify, I do not condone or approve of such behaviour. He could have caused heaps of trouble for many people besides himself. He almost knocks down a couple of pedestrians I counted three or four cars that could have collided with him AND A BUS If you thought he got into an accident and the camera did not manage to capture it, watch till the end of the video. you'll spot him cycling along the road with not a scratch on him. Consider my mind... BLOWN. Is he some kind of immortal being? Meanwhile, netizens had lots to say about the cyclist's stunt: I sure do hope that our cyclists in Singapore take more caution while they're out cycling on the road. TL;DR – Ang Moh cyclist harasses Lexus RX by cycling in the middle of the road, obstructing its path and swerves between cars dangerously. Here’s another reason LTA should come up with some sort of SOP for cyclists to make them accountable for their actions. In this 70-second video, you can see the male cyclist cycling recklessly to harass the Lexus driver. Putting not just himself but other motorist in danger. Cyclist vs SUV The cyclist blocks a Lexus RX on the first lane along River Valley Road near Liang Court. Honestly, I’ve watched the video like twenty times, and I still have no idea whatafrak the cyclist is doing. 1. He’s cycling without placing his hands on the handlebars of the bicycle 2. His chest and stomach are exposed (eww?) 3. He raises his right hand as if indicating he’s turning right, but he doesn’t turn right Where it happened Just in case you’re a little disoriented and unsure where this incident took place. What’s the trigger? It looks like the cyclist was trying to indicate that he wanted to turn right on Mohamed Sultan Road, but the Lexus did not allow him to do so. In response, the cyclist gives the SUV a shove and dangerously swerves through the cars in front to get ahead of the Lexus and block the driver’s path. Chitter Chatter It’s just a matter of time. There are cyclists out there who abide by the laws. Please don’t ‘sabo’. Thanks.

So today, we have a video that highlights the ultimate Singaporean gangster driver. Uncle Koba has watched this video more than ten times and still raging internally 😈 Unspoken rules of parking There are 'unwritten rules' when it comes to parking whether it may be at a HDB, condominium, shopping mall or wherever. A vehicle waiting to park can wait for a lot to open up within a 'three lot range' from the front and rear of his vehicle. This range varies from person to person but other drivers looking for parking space would usually leave a healthy distance between their car and yours. But, if you are a gangster driver like this Toyota Wish driver, all you need to do is spot an empty lot, head in and yell "Please move your car!" when confronted. Here's the video for you to rage at. Who does this? A#$holes. Only a@#holes do this. Hello a#$hole. You're famous now. The poor dude that wanted to park came out and confronted the Wish driver Here's a breakdown of their short conversation: Morale of the story Your time may be precious, but that doesn't mean that other people's time isn't. Typical kiasu ‘chopes’ parking lot on Liang Seah Street by standing in it

Imagine driving on a busy street where parking is scarce, and you see a vacant parking lot a few cars in front of you. Every driver starts hoping and praying that the cars in front of them don’t take that parking lot. In this case, no one takes that lot. When you’re closer, you realise why. Uncle, why you so kiasu Some overgrown Smurf uncle is standing there reserving the lot for his friend/family/idgaf who. I’m sorry, but “Uncle, this isn’t some Kopitiam where you reserve a table with your tissue.” Here’s the video by SG Road Vigilante, so have a look yourself. Warning – the techno music in cam car might be a little loud for some. Cam car driver’s conversation Cam car driver winds down his window, and we can catch snippets of his conversation with Kiasu Uncle (It would have been a little clearer without the techno). Basic translation from Mandarin to English because my Mandarin CMI “Hello brother, cannot like that reserve parking lot” “My car come here first leh” The uncle replies that his friend/son's car is just behind, and the cam car drives off in a huff hurling a string of profanities that I will not translate here. What the people say Some people think there’s nothing wrong with this Some think otherwise Personally, I think this @#$% should be illegal unless Kiasu Uncle dresses as a tissue box then I've got nothing to say. -
A video of an accident between an AETOS car and a taxi has become viral. The video was uploaded on Singapore Road Accident's Facebook page less than 13 hours ago and has since garnered 267 shares! If you haven't seen the video, here you go! In the video, the AETOS driver makes a right turn when the right-turn arrow is in the red. The oncoming taxi was unable to brake in time and crashed head-on into the side of the AETOS car. How do we know this? The video is so blurred! It's a simple skill of deduction, my dear Watson. Spot it? Just in case, here's how it should look to make a proper right turn. Now compare it with the screenshot above. Potong Jalan siol A few second after the crash, the AETOS driver starts shouting (to no one in particular): "Potong Jalan siol." I always thought that this phrase meant "steal" or "walked away". Like "I potong jalan-ed his girlfriend." Ooooh. Thanks, Smart Local! I digress. There was no way the taxi “potong-ed” the AETOS driver because the taxi had the right of way. If you don’t speak Malay, you might have missed this I went through the video with my Malay-speaking colleagues, and they picked up something interesting. At 0.33 – 0.35 ish of the video, the driver says "Kau suroh jalan eh?" - "you said move eh?". This was probably directed to the passenger who told him to go ahead and make the turn at the start of the video. This AETOS driver damn fast to push blame sia. What the people say Another guy caught it too! And, yes, I hope everyone is fine as well. It was quite a hard crash. Agreed. There’s always a practical commenter. Is it?

A video of two drivers speeding and almost crashing to their deaths seems to be circulating on social media, Whatsapp groups and Telegram chats. Here's the link to the 14-second video. They almost died In the video, you can see both the BMW and dashcam driver take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision with a stationary vehicle on lane 1 (rightmost lane). If they had crashed, based on how fast they were going past other cars on the road, they would have died. Online Chatter - Pro or lucky? I'm not even sure whether to be horrified or impressed by the display of lightning quick reflexes in the video. Netizens seem to be leaning more towards impressed. Indeed. They are waiting.

Happy Labour Day, Singapore! Some of us are thinking of how to utilise our pay that just came in. Then, there are jokers like this Toyota Wish driver who blows it all in an instant (and more). Speeding on PIE A dashcam video of the said driver has gone viral and here are some takeaways after watching the video. No one drives a Wish to speed. It's a family MPV for goodness sake. Don't do stupid things with other people's car, much less a rental Here's the 47-second video taken from SG Road Vigilante The Wish loses control at the 0.09 mark of the video. Online chatter Wow. To the Toyota Wish driver, good luck paying for all the damages for a rental car. -
While a majority of Singaporeans are being socially responsible and complying to the stricter "wear a mask when you go out" measures, there are some Covidiots who just don't get it. Let's just put some things in perspective for you Covidiot pricks. Millions of people are waiting to see their extended family, loved ones and friends come 2nd June 2020. Millions of people want to go out again without having a fear of getting a $300 fine. Millions of people do not want to hear that there has been a further extension of the Circuit Breaker. Then there are people like this The video of this lady exploded on social media and WhatsApp chats this morning. In the video, the lady walks onto the road causing the cam car to make an emergency brake in order not to hit her. There's a lot of speculation regarding her intentions. Some call her crazy. While others think its an insurance scam. But, the focus here is pretty obvious. Lucky the driver had a good reaction time. Singapore has its very own Takumi! (The main character of Initial D, btw) A video of a car with unknown origins racing against a Suzuki Hayabusa has received over 40 shares under 5 hours! If you haven't already seen the video, here you go! The original video is from District Singapore's Facebook page. What's happening? In the video, it starts with the Hayabusa abruptly cutting into the cam car's lane and causing the car to swerve and spin out of control. But, the car driver somehow manages to retain back control and continue on his merry way. The kicker? Image: New Initial D Legend 1: Awakening (Sanzigen, Liden Films, Sentai Filmworks) That's not even the best part! If you were observant, you would have noticed a bunch of coins on the dashboard of the car. Watch the video again. The coins barely move even with all the spinning and swerving! Very much like the cup of water Takumi uses in Initial D no? What the people say Hayabusa good siol Confirm There’s that possibility Lol I’m just glad no one got hurt.

Man uploads video to shame DHL delivery driver, gets online backlash instead

Here's a perfect example of how public shaming can come and bite you in the ass. In a recent video uploaded on Singapore Incidents' YouTube channel, an angry man chases down and confronts a DHL Delivery driver because the DHL driver allegedly pointed the middle finger at him. Here's the video if you haven't already seen it. In the video, the incident begins along the KPE when the DHL van does an e-brake in front of our angry man, who is driving behind the DHL van. Angry man proceeds to sound his displeasure with a couple of honks. Ideally, this should be the end of the story for most people. But, no. The angry man then proceeds to chase the DHL van like some road vigilante. As soon as angry man's car is parallel to the DHL van, we hear some cries of displeasure before he grabs his mobile device* (which was recording the whole incident) to capture DHL driver's face on video. *This is a chargeable offence by the way The video cuts off and jumps to the DHL driver sitting on the floor and speaking in dialect (Hokkien I think?) trying to justify his actions. It's not clear how they ended up out of their vehicles. Angry man then demands an apology from the DHL driver for pointing the middle finger at him. We think the finger-pointing might have happened when both their vehicles were parallel to one another (in the camera's blind spot). The DHL driver humbles himself and apologises in both Hokkien and English. But, angry man can't let sleeping dogs lie and submitted this video to shame the DHL driver. What the people say He should have just let it go after the apology and maybe he thought netizens would rally behind him. But, boy oh boy, was he wrong. What do you think?
