My VW Jetta 2014 model recently have "brake servo failure" with 3 error signs shown (photo). Now this sign came out every time after engine starts. In march 2021 VW Singapore quoted me replacement of ABS/EDL Control Unit for $3,974, of course I refused to do so. Anyone can offer your solution?

Just did my 60K service at Servo, Major Servicing, 1. Change oil filters 2. Change Fuel Filters 3. Change Brake Fluid 4. Change Auto transmission fluid, strainer and gasket 5. change shaft cover x 2 pcs 6. Secure bumper - body kit came loose. Parts:$224.00 Labor:$ 350.00 Around $562.98 *Brought my own engine oil. Ride feels like a million bucks now and noticed I have been getting over 12km/l now more than usual in the last 2 days. If I got this done in Ubi - it would have cost probably more, any bros here whom did their 60K at Ubi can we compare? Servicing is important if you want to prolong your ride.

Just came back from Servo for my 1st service there. After satisfying the warranty requirement for 5k by visiting CA's w/shop yesterday, I decided to do my own oil change at Servo. OT: For those who is still interested, CA's w/shop reception is in the basement of the Geely showroom in Ubi. You go to the reception to get your car registered & they drive it out of there. Don't know where they go with the car but I assume its 3rd or 4th floor of the same building. CA don't do anything but just get readings with Vagcom & didn't even show me any of the readings. Just say car ok, no problem after 2hrs+ ! Don't understand why they need 2hrs+ just to get readings with the Vagcom. Incidently saw 2 new Geely there in the basement (one OPC, one normal plate) being prepared for handover to customer but that's another story. Back to main story of servicing. Called both CAG & Servo the day before to enquire about pricing & told them I bring own oil (*lube 5w-40). Servo quoted $40 for labour + oil filter (excl. GST). Understand the filter itself costs some $13 ! CAG quoted $40 for labour and $15 for oil filter (but no GST though). CAG not GST registered ? Reached there by 0910hrs this morning. Philip gave me priority as my is just oil change. Whole process took slightly less than 1hr while I kaypoh, 'supervised the worker' & at the same time inspect the undercarriage since they jacked the car up. I can't believe how 'black' the engine oil is when they drained it & CA only recommend 15k oil change ??? At least now my ride feels much smoother & quiter. Used to feel quite rough for the past month. My 2 cents.

Just a precautionary to others: Any of you had installled ATF cooler from Servo? Better go check the existing pipes that they've used. Why? Bcos mine was installed using a low pressure, fuel grade, rubber pipe. And it burst during the weekend, Friday night some more! Had to tow it to workshop and wasted my weekend night out! The ATF fluid had decorated all of my engine interior, and after spending 3/4 of the day changing to 400psi-grade pipe, found out that my main radiator fan had died as well.....damaged by the ATF fluid I guessed. So no choice, had to change that too. Better go check that pipe immediately!

Hi, Just wanted to share my satisfaction with the service I got from Servo today..have heard that their service is good and I feel the same way after my first visit there to rep my battery. My alarm system goes auto lock when the battery is replaced and keys are agonisingly inside...Philip the boss (whom replaced the battery for me) offered me his own car for me to drive back home and take my spare key after few attempts to try opening fails. Very few workshop will offer you this and I am really pleased. This visit got my thumbs up and I'm sure it will not be my last.
