Anyone knows which workshop does this service and how much does it cost? The screeching is damn irritating.

Does tire still screech with ABS system installed in most cars? For my Sunny, I tried e-brake with many many times and the ABS kicks in. But there is no tire screeching sound at all. I understand that ABS helps prevent screeching with high speed on-off braking. Recently I saw two incidents where the tire still screech when the cars e-brake. I believe these cars have ABS installed. Incident 1 : Along Lornie Rd, chain collision of 4 cars and I saw that happen. I can hear clearly the KIA Carens tire screeching before it hits the car in front. Followed by another two other tire screech and bang sounds by the next two cars in the chain collision. Incident 2 : S-Class Mercs try to beat the right-turn signal but realise unable to n e-brake last min, can see n hear loud n clear tire screeching for abt 5m. Does that means the ABS not working or the braking too sudden that ABS is ineffective? I believe the ABS function cannot be turned off rite? Any experts care to share?
