Hi all I have a 2007 Nissan Latio (Premium with CVT gearbox) that produces rumbling noise at low speed or when the engine is experiencing load. The noise is especially evident at cold start and the noise got louder over the past whole year. I brought it to a mechanic and was told initially that the engine mounting might be damaged. Then when i urged the mechanic to confirm again, I was told that the catalytic converter might be the one vibrating and causing the issue. Any bro here got the same problem as me? anyone know whats wrong? -
Recently service my car, 08 altis 1.6 change engine oil, oil filter, iridium spark plug and install hurricane filter. Perviously car quite rough jerky (took over car from brother) which change after service. Service qt autobac with their idemitsu oil 5w30(sorry if wrong spelling) plus flushing. Car wa super smooth initially but now (2000 km later)got low rumbling sound when accelerating (like sports car). Funny thing is the car is movibg smoothly and no jerking...shiok at first but now is a bit irritating. Got very slight vibration also when accelerating. accelerating. Idle the car got no vibration...only accelerating. Try put on neutral and rev a but the sound and vibration is there. Engine oil is still full and good ( got a bit black black). What can be the problem?
