  1. As we all wait in anticipation as to what the SLS AMG Roadster will look like, Roger Federer has already seen more of it than any one else. He's been brought in as part of Mercedes' advertisement for the Roadster and Federer has been itching to take a photo of it (which is good news as its probably looks as stunning, or even more gorgeous than the coupe version) but isn't allowed to. Obviously. Federer was told that strictly no photos of the car were to be taken, and this is what he said on his Facebook page, "They won't let me take a picture but they are about to let me take it for a ride.......". And he does seem a little insistent on getting a photo of the car as he mentioned earlier, "Just started filming a Mercedes-Benz commercial...it's with the 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Awesome machine! They won't let me take a picture with it as its not being publicly debuted until June. Security is tight. I might try later." Try he did but to no avail. I'm a huge fan of the SLS and seeing some of them on Singaporean roads roaring down the expressway, I just can't help but look in the rear view mirror... then on to the blind spot and away it goes hurtling past and disappearing from view in the front windscreen. And when 2012 comes, there will be a new SLS Roadster to look forward to. For now, I'll just be envious of Federer and wish that he'll be a bit more rebellious and take some shots! Come on Roger!
