  1. It looks like the wet weather is here again. Usually, at the time of writing this blog, I would be running at East Coast Park but my plan has to be shelved due to the light drizzle. Coming back to the topic of automobile, it is frustrating to be caught in the rain while driving, especially after a thorough car wash. Personally, I prefer to be caught in a heavy downpour rather than a light drizzle, provided that I am not caught in a flood. Below is the reason why. The rain water itself will not make the car very dirty. The splashes from the road are the main culprit. This is the reason why the upper part of the body panels are cleaner than the lower portion after the car is caught in the rain. In a light drizzle, the road grimes do not get washed away, unlike a heavy downpour. Hence, the splashes from the road contain relatively more dirt and debris. In the same school of thoughts, a heavy downpour clears up the road grimes. I
