  1. Not likely to happen here anytime soon I guess... Any MDA MCFers here? Not enough Canadian porn on adult TV: regulator Published on Mar 07, 2014 3:14 AM OTTAWA (AFP) - Canada's broadcasting regulator wants to see more locally-made porn on Canadian television, judging by a notice on its website that accuses three channels of failing to meet licensing requirements. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) said three Toronto-based adult channels have failed to provide a minimum of 35 per cent Canadian content. The rules require a portion of programming to be at least partly written, produced or presented by persons in Canada, in order to bolster the local industry and showcase Canadian content. A hearing has been scheduled for April 28 to decide whether the broadcasting licenses of AOV Adult Movie Channel, XXX Action Clips and Maleflixxx should be renewed. 2. bros, i was quoted 550 to change fuel pump and pressure regulator by a reputable toyota specialist ws in singapore, is this a fair price? i check the materials cost will be about 290 w/o GST. all original parts
  3. Heard a lot about this, and for the first time (hope it is the last) it happened to me. The window was wind down and could not be move up. Spoken to Czech Auto and was told that the regulator has broken (cost about S$250 to replace), but the motor is still moving. Open up and have managed to shift the window up manually using a spanner. Noticed that motor is connected to the gearing through a metal rod with the ends welded/attached to another metal inside a plastic. My goodness, either I get a scraped piece or do an OEM. Anyone done this before. a. Attached it back by High strength glue or epoxy b. Tack weld it. c. Put a bolt through d. change it. Please let me know your choice. Ivan
  4. Hi CNG bros, Today while driving on CNG, halfway thru I realised that when I accelerate hard, I heard "Pssst" sound like water spray sound only during revving above 3k rpm or so. Made a call to my installer (luckily they haven't close for the week) and he said it could be due to a faulty regulator. But was reassured that the regulator psst sound poses no problems for driving. But I really wonder if that means its leaking some gas? Hmm this tank's mileage is not quite good leh.....Will probably pump CNG gas again and go to get the regulator replaced on tuesday or so. Sigh so fast parts are falling apart. Car is not yet 10k mileage yet. Any bros having the same problem with their regulator?
  5. 6. Guys, I just installed a new sard fuel regulator. As the new regulator came without gauge, my regular mech (he sold me the regulator) installed it and set it to 2.4kg/cm2 using his own precision gauge. I finally got hold of a new gauge that measures in kg/cm2 and PSI. After installing it and not adjusting the fuel pressure set by my mech, the reading shows 1.8kg/cm2...?? I thought the new gauge might be faulty so tried another old kg/cm2 gauge and this time it shows 3.0kg/cm2...?? Any idea whats wrong here? I have no doubt that the regulator is definitely original from japan as it was brought in by my trusted mech's jap friend direct from japan. There are also jap label and pricing in jap-Yen on the box and the instruction booklet also in jap language. I'm hoping that its not the gauge that is faulty right out of the box...
  7. Hi guys, I just got a SARD fuel regulator and bought another separate pressure gauge to show the pressure. May I know how much it cost to install this 2 item? Any good place to reccomend?
  8. hi to all MCF bros... Anyone have installed SARD FR in their ride? How's the response after the installation? Any place to recommend for this device installation?
  9. WTB a fuel regulator. anybody selling ? need it as my engine is knocking with all the mods.
  10. Hi, anyone know the detail of this product? It has one screw to adjust the idling fuel pressure. How about rise rate? Is it 1-1psi, i.e. 1psi fuel pressure increase corresponding to 1psi manifold pressure increase ? Or it's it with "rise rate" feature? if was, how many psi fuel pressure to 1psi intake pressure??
  11. As mention in topic.. is it possible to install.. i hear many different feedbacks but yet to comfirm.???
  12. Hmmm...Saw this post off the Sunny delphi forums...Is what he describes true?? ============================== After adjusting the pressure, did you pull the throttle cable to check the max pressure at the guage (PBV function check) ? Off the engine, did the pressure meter drop steadly to 0 (Fuel return line efficency check) ? ============================== If yes, then maybe I will reinstall my stock fuel regulator, cos my aftermarket one seems to remain at 2 bar for a while (say several minutes) even after turning off the engine?? Or is there a clog somewhere on the return line??
  13. hi, just wanna check if anybody has ever replaced their window regulators? and how much does one normally cost? tia:)
