  1. You’d think after we’ve written so many posts about drivers running red lights and failing there’d be fewer cases. This is why you guys should share our articles so that your friends will be made aware of the consequences of driving recklessly (i.e, being our next post)! What happened? A Volkswagen Jetta tried to run a red light after failing to give way to a red MPV that I believe is a Honda Stream. Don’t quote me on that second one though. The footage shows the Jetta speeding up at the intersection right as the MPV was turning, like he was going to make that gap at all. Bro definitely has Ayrton Senna as his favourite driver. On the other hand, the Jetta also has a turbocharger; so maybe just unfortunate timing? There is no information as to the conditions of both drivers. Online chatter Cue generic comments blaming the VW. Running a red light and immediately getting hit is pretty funny karma. Interestingly enough, the watermark in this video was significantly larger and partially obscured the important bits of the video. This didn’t escape netizens’ attention, leading to ridicule. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 3. Located along Upper Thomson Road towards Lornie where the prata shop at Sin Ming is.
  4. I witnessed a Malaysian car blatantly beating red light here in SGP and got it recorded on my carcam. Que: will police take action if i show them the youtube link? Que: what is the penalty for the driver if the driver does return and drive the same car in SGP? Que: If the police does take action but the driver dispute, what is the procedure? Will I be called into court as a witness?
  5. Was traveling along Paya Lebar road this morning and saw this dump truck beating red-arrow light. He has waited at the junction for light to turn green to do U-turn. And obviously lost his patience and commit the offense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcuDhrhgGqA Have email the video to TP. Waiting for reply. For those bros that have installed Carcam, hope you can do your part by reporting traffic offense, so to keep our road safer.

  7. anybody knows if the redlight camera has speed detectors inbuilt? suppose you sped past a redlight camera and there was a flash, will you be caught for speeding on top of failure to stop for red light? or just failure to stop for red light only? also if 2 cars sped past the same redlight camera, will both cars get summoned?
  8. hi i captured on my car video on a truck pulling a trailer that speeds up & beat a redlight in sengkang on a 2 lane neighbourhood small road. How i know it speed up.. Well i was travelling ahead of the truck beside it at maybe 50 or 60km/hr n the truck was in full view on my rear mirror so i guess that like 20m ahead, then when i approached the redlight i came to a complete stop & after maybe 1 second the truck zoom past my car on full speed beating the redlight that was already red for maybe 2 seconds or so. Confirmed if there is any vehicle that travels pass sure die even if also a big truck. Asfter the light turn green, i drove off n the same truck was at the next redlight n my car recoder managed to take him in full view. Now the question is whether i shld submit this video to the authority? My wife feels that what if i submit & the person loses his licence hence his job? What do u guys think?
  9. I wanna ask on behalf of my friend. Cause today he was travelling behind me and when i reached the first arrow i think, the light turned amber and i cleared the junction easily but my friend who wasnt that close to me, also cleared the junction but i dont know whether it was a red or not. Looked in my rear view mirror at the cameras and there wasnt a flash. Is the flash really very bright during the day? Was around 2-3pm. Was on sime road towards adam road towards farrer road.
  10. Quote:Drive.com.au http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/ArticleD...age:ClassiePuff A new study in the United States has found that red light cameras may do more harm than good. By RICHARD BLACKBURN. Red light cameras significantly increase the risk of crashes at intersections, according to a new study released in the United States. Researchers at the University of South Florida found that cameras increased crashes and related injuries because drivers were slamming on their brakes to avoid fines, causing rear-end accidents. They also claim that some red light camera operators in the US have shortened the time that a light flashes orange in an attempt to increase revenue.
