Hi everyone, would like to see some help and advice on playing JDR files that are gotten from the SD card in my car cam (Hella DR 820). I am trying to play these JDR format files to review some footage, but after extensive Googling i cant find any working player (for mac) to play it. I manage to find an iRoad Mac Viewer here (https://apps.apple.com/kr/app/iroad-viewer/id1507142170?l=en) But after trying, my results were same as the reviews of the app, with the mac app unable to play the JDR files. Are there any other possible solution for Mac users? Could be converting the files, or uploading online, i am open to try methods. Thanks!

As per title, since most modern cars come with reverse/backup camera i.e. the one that activates when put into reverse gear, and front and rear dashcams are considered must-haves for your ride... Is there a reverse/backup camera that also performs dashcam recording function (or vice versa, a rear dashcam that projects bigger image on your ICE when engage reverse gear)?

Hi, Anyone using this dvr? The loop recording max is 10mins, means the recorded video will be overlapped by new one? cannot set to re-loop when SDCArd full? My previous brandless dvd can set such looping when sdcard is full. I don't know why the cam like keep stopping and start recording :(

Hi, I just installed a car cam with concealed wires and switch. Just wondering if leaving the cam on but switching off the screen, how much power does it typically drain? I have left it on for like 3-5 hours and engine can start, but never truly overnight like 10 - 12 hours... dun dare to try leh... think its ok? does it depend on how new/old the batt is etc? i have the option of motion sensor... does it help? my thinking is that switching off the screen is saving more energy than motion sensor...

Understand that PAL (50 or 25fps) are for TV format in Asia. But if I set my DSLR video recording to NTSC (60 or 30 fps), does that mean that there will be a incompatibility issue with my video on my home TV?

i saw from strait times yesterday about insurance claim and there is a local company that brought in china-made digital vidoe camera that record your driving trip (3gb) - company name is ViG SERVICES retailing the camera for only about 360 dollar - anyone know if they have a website or any information as to where i can get this camera. many thanks

Hi to all, Tried searching for any info related to this in the forum but couldnt find any, so pls pardon me if topic had been discussed before. Just noted one police officer taking numbers of all the cars parking illegally outside a shopping centre, then went back to his police car and drove off. Reckoned its from nearby NP Post. Anyone knows if it would lead in a fine? Will they refer to HDB or TP to issue a fine?
