  1. I've recently noticed that late-night grocery shopping has become an activity that I enjoy from time to time. It kind of started when friends suggested to meet at the carpark of Tampines Giant Hypermarket for a chatting session (I know, car guys are weird) - I figured that since I was there, I might as well just pop in and buy some stuff for breakfast (Giant has some of the most affordable and tasty Croissants). Gradually, I realised that it is quite enjoyable to grocery shop late at night. Yes, there's only one counter open, but the supermarket would typically be rather empty. There's no need to squeeze with people in the narrow aisles to find the item you want, and it's much quieter, allowing you to shop in peace. And it's an activity that does many things for me at the same time - I get to scratch that shopaholic itch by buying things that will be used at home, and sometimes I would even stumble upon some incredible deals such as $5 for a dozen cans of Pepsi! I don't know why, but it seems like I'm at the point in life where grocery shopping is kinda fun 😂
