If you think the job of a CEO is to increase sales, then Ballmer did a spectacular job; he tripled Microsoft’s sales to $78 billion and doubled profits from $9 billion to $22 billion. The launch of the Xbox and Kinect, and the acquisitions of Skype and Yammer happened on his shift. If the Microsoft board was eager only for quarter-to-quarter revenue growth, Ballmer was as good as it gets as a CEO. But if the purpose of a CEO is long-term company survival, then one could make a much better argument that Ballmer was a failure as a CEO the moment he optimized short-term gains by squandering long-term opportunities.   2. Today went pump some petrol at Shell station Seng Kang, after I stopped beside the nozzle, spotted 2 chio bu in race queen attire (white short tights with high boots) urging me to pump V-power. Telling me V-power very good, clean my engine, burn fast, yadda yadda, got free sunshade... I just say... "No Thanks."
  3. i was at shell upper changi yesterday to pump petrol when this chio-bu in tank top and short skirt come up to me and....... Chiobu : hi, want to try vpower ? Me : (stunned) huh ? Chiobu: today we having promotion for vpower. Me: oorh.... Chiobu : if u pump $50 worth of vpower, you get free ferrari key chain worth $19.90 (shows me the key chain) Me : err....no thanks i'll pump 95 today...thanks anyway Chiobu : no problem Me : ...... Anyone had similar encounters ?? Sorry no photos taken lar... wanted to take but she kept staring..... maybe if i buy 50 bucks of vpower petrol then can take her photo... but quite chio lah . i see all the apeks look at her like want to stun her...
