I have been having this problem my car feels a little hesitant when i acclerate hard, seems to be cut in power however when the rev exceed 5K the Vtec sets in and it feels Ok only experiencing this problem lately

Hi guys... sincerely hope any ex-prelude owner can share FRs on the 4th Gen honda Prelude H22A vtec. Hope to know what's the FC, HP and any known problems. Many thanks in advance.
