  1. Hi all, Some time back Eddie posted an article about the PCV and how it functions. It's supposed to control the airflow thru the engine cover, without which air will flow too much during low-rev and cruising (hi vacuum situations) and too little during hi-rev/floored throttle (low vacuum situations). I tried disconnecting the hose connected between the air filter hose and the engine cover, and got this- hi flow during idling but almost no airflow during higher RPMs. Has my PCV failed? Or is the plunger/spring inside sticking? It should be the other way round, i.e. low volume of air being pulled into the engine cover and more air during higher rev. I checked both Iswaras at home and it was the same... can someone check their cars and see whether it's just me? Thanks!
