The main unit pretty straight forward.......red to positive and blue to negative on battery terminals. Basically given a bracket (rivert onto metal surface inside bonnet compartment), all grounding cables will be screwed to the bracket on one end of grounding cable. The other end of grounding cable will be screwed onto various places like engine, throtlebody.........(unsure where else needs grounding). My query is one of the grounding cable is required to connect to battery node right? Which polarity to connect over?

Dear Bro Seek all bros advice on this matters pertaining to the Pivot 3 Drive Controller.. Does changing of battery affect the existing settings of this device? Meaning to say after changing of battery need to make the settings again in order for it to be in working order.. Thanks

Initial response is like....... Well...... no difference leh.....I felt nothing at all. Maybe the unit is faulty but the blinking LED lights show its normal. Its just capacitors and unit does charge up. Monitor my FC.... well.....again..... nothing significant. Maybe just 0.2KM/L better but inconclusive. I just adjust my fuel during idle to be slightly leaner and I get even better FC than this. I also DIY my Spark Earth VS. The unit is basically just 2 x 470uF caps and 1 x 0.0068uF cap. Then 1 x resistor and 1 x LED. Fuse is optional. No difference of any kind as well. I just treat it as some noise filter lor. So, if you want to spend $400-500 on VS thinking you can get more power, think again..... I know grounding does help, and my car is already grounded (DIY of course). thus maybe thats why VS is useless. -

hi all, i got a cheap old set of pivot spark, thus installing. apparently in sg... the pivot agent Mc___ dun know how to install on my ride thus i check any expert on electronics or frm jap side can help? manual on installation can be found here: http://www.pivotracing.com/product/VS-S okie since im not sure which wiring method is recommended, they say normal is switch on when key on... thus i eyeballing on FI method. cos is connected after the key switch. thus using FI method. should be the yellow wire as stated. but .... the pivot say is using the yellow wire... but Mc___ says red... cos when came , the fuse is tapped to the red wire ... so red is all link red and jus wire up i suspect they dun even know wat they doing... only limited cars they know which fuse to tap... but color.. all dun know... hai... sad case i read the pivot using yellow wire, i does the yellow to the fuse to E/G fuse which links to the ignition i tried red.. but works... but correct a not , no ideal any expert ?

Hi All. Juz browse thru the famous local mag & found out this new gadget. Has anyone tried it? Any comments on it? Was doing some Diy in my engine bay and discovered the (-ve) cable from my Raizin disconnected from the battery!! Quickly fixed it back. Got shocked a bit by the sparks that flew when I touch the cable to the (-ve) terminal of battery. Anyway, I think it must have been the time when the AA engineer changed my battery, and left the Raizin disconnected.
