Both my washing machine and kitchen sink drain to this main drainage pipe on the kitchen floor.... recently when both are drain at the same time, the water was being force out due to slow drainage to the common pipe - sign of choking. This morning, without even using the washing machine, just washing at the sink, the water runs out....but still drained very slowly..... then I use the aluminium broom handle and shove it down the pipe, pieces of white solid block float up and I removes it..... now it seems like TOTAL CHOKE When I look above the ceiling, checking how my above neighbor's drainage pipe looks like, a normal U shape, but funny I can't feel any opening all around at the bottom of the pipe with the aluminium handle.... so I wonder if I get those "snake flimsy metal rod" , I wonder can it penetrate and clear those solidified waste since those wire are so flimsy.... any advice?

Anyone changed their stock plastic charge pipes to aftermarket aluminium ones? Any improvement in performance? Do you change because the stock one cracked, or to play safe due to preventive measures?

A man has been video-ed down by a passerby around Block 409 Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 on the 29th of Sept 2020 brandishing a knife in a carpark. Someway into the video posted by ROADS.sg, we can see that the guy with knife, suddenly slashing himself on his own forearm after shouting at the other guy who was holding a pipe or something similar. Upon seeing the man with the knife slashing himself, the other man dropped his weapon and tried to stop him from causing more hurt. Based on what netizens from various sources wrote, the man who tried to stop the guy with the knife happened to be just a brave passerby. Police are aware of this case and investigations are ongoing. It is unknown how the lady who had blood on her face is related to the case.

Need to seek advice. Notice that there was some water dipping out from the 2 small round caps (not sure what to call it) in the common toilet sanitary pipe. Will painting the pipe be able to stop the dipping? What type of paint is best for toilet sanitary pipes? Thank you

Dear bros, My turbo pipe was diagnosed to be leaking and it depletes my engine oil. I would like to check if any bros know of any reputable workshop who is able to repair/replace turbo piping at reasonable price? I was quoted nearly $600 for the replacement at Autofrance. Would appreciate if you could share here.

Was parking just now in an open-air carpark and reversing butt in and i somehow underestimated the distance between my exhaust pipe and the parking concrete kerb behind. Needless to say, the exhaust hit the kerb and it was quite loud the sound which i could even hear from inside the car. Any damage that i may have done to the poor exhaust? (other than it could be probably be out of shape or position a little bit if there's even such a thing?)

Found my wife's Matrix exhaust badly rusted. Tried VHT paint but work only for a few months and the paint flakes....thinking to galvanise it using galvanising paint. Search from google for more details but found that there are different comment.. Some says cold galvanise doesnt work for exhaust because the zinc will melt beyond 700+ FH..... but the others says that it works very well and easily last for a few yrs... Wanted to check with expert in the forum on their comment before doing anything cause its a very tedious process for DIY preparation work scrub & sand off the existing paint and rust process)for spray paint....

http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...tches_fire.html A STOMPer saw a man who locked himself in a parked car, and kept stepping on the accelerator until his exhaust pipe caught fire at Yishun. The man was apparently drunk, said the STOMPer. Said the STOMPer: "On Sunday (Jan 8) around 1pm, a man was stepping on the accelerator of his stationary car for a good 20 minutes non-stop. "Inside his car he was using his mobile phone and exercising in a lying down position . "He stopped ramming the pedal after there was visible fire from his car's exhaust pipe. "I called the police who arrived super fast with the entire SCDF team. "The man refused to open the door, but once the police officer took out his baton he opened it. "The Singapore police force was very efficient. "The man (in black) seemed to be drunk. "And since I live on the second storey of a nearby block, I could hear him saying that he was asleep in his car." A spokesperson from the police says: "Police received a call on Jan 8 at about 1.15 pm requesting for assistance at a carpark near block 132 Yishun Street 11. "It was established that an Indian man in his mid 20s was found sleeping inside his vehicle. "He was subsequently conveyed to KTPH for medical examination." We see all sorts of modifications/alterations done to cars before, either for performance or aesthetics reasons and some of us who own cars might have done it to our own rides. One day while I was surfing the World Wide Web, I came across some photos of crazy and peculiar modifications/alterations done to cars. Let us take a moment to enjoy these photos. The first picture (above, top) shows a Pringles can attached to, probably, the air intake system of a car. Automakers spend billions of dollars doing research and development of car parts and components but the person who did this thought that a Pringles can, some duct tape and hose clamps can be a suitable part replacement. The next photo (above) was supplied to me by a friend. When I first saw it, I spent about half a minute laughing. The person who did this was most definitely doing it as a joke as six exhaust tips at the back box won

While reversing, I stepped too much gas and heard a lot bump. Went down and checked and it seems that the chamber where the exhuast pipe protrude from is dented. So far the drive is ok, didn't notice any difference while driving. Is there any urgency for me to get the exhuast checked out? Any workshop to recommend that repair the exhuast? Thanks.

Hi, I am interested in changing my exhaust pipe to a bigger one to ensure a smoother flow of exhaust gas. Just wondering if anybody knows a good shop for me to check out? I am a 05 Civic owner and would appreciate if you can also give me an estimate cost. Thanks. GigaCrusher

Hi Just need to weld one pipe (I think it's called the inlet to the muffler?? The one in the second half of the undercarriage). Cos the second hand aftermarket exhaust was bought from a general workshop and they fixed up from me. It was not welded but joined by a " C-clamp" (donna what you called that), and it leaked several times.....went back to same workshop the few times but they just tightened it ). Anyway long story. So any good and cheap specialised exhaust workshop to recommend? Went to MAN yesterday but it was damn crowded, can't even squeeze into the back where the office is Also, any idea the market rate just to jack up the car and weld the one pipe? Thanks
