Dear Mods, I have a little suggestion here. Just wondering if it is feasible to start a sub folder here ~ perhaps under "others" dedicated to parenting? There are lots of forums out there dedicated to parenting no doubt, most of which however are female dominated. Males tend to feel awkward posting there and some may even be seen as chee ko peks, for camping in a female dominated environment. This parenting folder can benefit the MCF community by offering a channel - For experienced fathers to contribute their knowledge - For would be fathers (like myself now) to learn from real life experiences instead of textbook examples It is also an excellent channel to hear the muses, gripes, joys, trials, involvements, know-hows, mostly from a father/male's perspective. Please consider, I'm pretty sure this enables fathers and would be fathers to build cohesion and supports the aims of developing healthy and resilient forumers through a community channel. cheers

I think a lot of us listen to the radio and might share my opinion that we have to put up with quite a few mediocre radio DJs. But I wonder who is with me on this. This class95 DJ has been a radio personality for quite a many years now but it's shocking how appalling she is at her job. Her shows are stale and it was especially bad when she was the host during lunch-time. Her lacking of a radio personality, a character shows up very obviously then. Maybe her bosses recognise her shortfall and had her team up with the morning guys, both to add a female perspective and perhaps to inject some life into her tepid repertoire. But shockingly, she seems to have pulled the two guys down with her. Her jokes are flat, and she seem only intent to add some sound effect or mimick some accent, which more often than not is rather irritating. And obviously she has problems catching up with the two guys' routine and ends up being like an unwanted third party in a two-person conversation, breaking their flow in the process. Granted, she is new to them and need time to gel. But signs so far are not encouraging. I don't know about you guys but her show makes me crinch at times. So much so I have already stopped tuning in.

read this somewhere in another forum and realised that its very true... so i tot post here and share perhaps allow some to reflect... A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door. SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?' DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man. SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?' DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily. SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.' SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?' The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked. 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.' The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled. Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.' The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

Bentley Continental GT After its messy divorce from Rolls-Royce, you may have expected Bentley to sit back and lick its wounds. Instead, it's had an amazing year. First it won the Le Mans 24 Hours, and now it's launching an all-new car, the Continental GT. But this is far more than just a fresh model for the firm. It represents a whole new way of doing business - and we just had to get behind the wheel. Incredible though it may seem, the
