The Mitsubishi Pajero is set to be discontinued after being on sale for more than 37 years Japan. Production will cease come August and Mitsubishi has launched a Final Edition which is limited to 700 units as a celebratory model. Based on the Pajero Exceed, the Final Edition features add-ons like a sunroof and roof rails. Ticking the box for the Final Edition Accessory Package would then add a rear spoiler, a spare tire cover and mud flaps with Pajero badging. Inside, things remain pretty much the same other than a new illuminated “Final Edition” sill plates. The SUV is powered by a 3.2-litre four cylinder diesel engine that produces 187bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a locking rear differential. While the Japanese will not be getting anymore Pajeros soon, the car will still be made available in a handful of markets like Australia and the Middle East.

Short listed the 3, need comments to decide. Tribeca - My Likes: Love it or hate it exterior, beauty interior, rear airon, multi-function steering wheel, rare, 250BHP. My Dislikes: Running cost, huge blind spots while turning into MSCP, high FC Vanguard My Likes: Low running cost, low FC?, Same as my company's name. Slap the full company name behind, bid for number and can ask boss to fund for me My Dislikes: No presence felt, just another Toyota.... Pajero 3.0 Likes: Huge Dislike: Running cost, high FC?, neighbour got a full specs 3.8 while I drive 3.0

The Pajero name is alive? Not bad looking I say, has the new face like the Outlander. Although rear tail lights look like Honda Jazz/Fit with an extra line. ...Interior though reminds me of really old cars or Nissan. At least better looking than Forester, but dunno how the qualities are. Should be good offroad too.

[extract] Every JDM car enthusiasts would have a particular favourite model from a Japanese automaker. Thus it is no surprise that even the current president of Toyota, Akio Toyoda, has his favourites too. During his inauguration as the Chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, he was asked on his preferences among his company
