One common behaviour of motorcyclists is how they always tend to lane split while riding. Furthermore, these riders lane split regardless of their level of experience on the road. Watch how an inexperienced p-plate rider learn his lesson the hard way: What Happened? The accident occurred at the Punggol Exit of the TPE, involving a Go-Ahead bus and a p-plate rider along with his pillion. Many vehicles were forming up for a right turn at a traffic light when a p-plate rider decided to lane split his way to the front of traffic. Unfortunately, the inexperienced p-plate rider decided to position himself in the blind spot of the Go-Ahead bus captain. As a result, while the Go-Ahead bus captain was negotiating the right turn, he inevitably sideswiped the motorcycle, causing the rider and his pillion to fall. Luckily, the rider and his pillion did not seem to sustain any major injuries, as the impact of the collision was not great. I guess this will serve as a hard lesson for the p-plate rider to either avoid lane split from now on or be more careful when lane splitting. Is lane splitting safer for riders? Some riders argue that lane splitting is somehow "safer", While other motorists argue that it is dangerous and riders lane split for their mere convenience to skip traffic. However, I have yet to understand how lane-splitting makes riding "safer". Any experienced riders care to do me a favour and explain it in the comments below? Netizens' Comments This man speaks from personal experience☝️ The rider clearly WFH for too long liao. The rider was trying to attempt some next level shit! "Experience is a good school. But the fees are high." ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!

Chiu cheng drivers, road hoggers, self-entitled pedestrians have one thing in common - they make drivers lose their temper and anger them. And naturally, we find ourselves making comments about them, staring and even hand gestures, similar to how this BMW driver flashed his finger. Watch it here: The "Centre" Finger It is unclear what happened between the BMW X5 driver and the pedestrian before the video, except that the BMW X5 driver supposedly gave him a big "centre" finger to his face and "attempted to run him over". This infuriated the pedestrian, who whipped out his handphone and started filming the BMW driver and passenger while going berserk and ranting non-stop. All this while the driver avoided eye contact with the pedestrian and continued to talk on his phone. On the other hand, the passenger, presumably the driver's sister, was observed trying to reason with the pedestrian. Throughout the video, the pedestrian repeatedly called the driver rude and insisted that the driver apologised to him for his misdeed. Not to anyone's surprise, the video ends without the driver apologising. NGL, if what the pedestrian recounted is true, the BMW driver deserves a good telling off. P-Plate Driver NGL, P-plate drivers are usually the ones angering others, not the other way around. More often than not, these P-plate drivers can't drive around confidently, let alone have the confidence to flip the bird at others. Maybe this P-plate driver is different since he's behind the wheel of a BMW X5 M. Who knows? I am certain that this incident has taught him a lesson on accountability - be prepared to face the consequences of giving others the finger. Netizens' Comments Haha kena exposed. Big car that's why act big! "Don't start something you cannot end." - Very wise words! Dear MCF bro and sis, good evening!! It has been quite sometime since I last started a topic and I think general discussion is the most suitable place for this. Here's the stroy: Place of incident: Marsling blk 19 hawker center carpark Time: Around 12.45pm Date: 5th July 2014 At around 12.40pm this afternoon, me and my gf arrived at this hawker center carpark @ marsling and because we can't find a parking lot, I parked at the side while waiting for empty lots. After 5 min, I decided to drive one round around the carpark to search for empty lots at the other side. Bro/sis who lived here or have been to this carpark will know how the carpark flow (as in veh movement) because there isn't road marking on the road to separate incomming and outcomming veh so therefore we will have to give way whenever there's incoming veh ahead of us....... Then here comes the climax!!! This p-plate nissan sylphy was coming out from his lot and was driving towards the exit and at the same time, I turned right and both of us stopped at the middle of the road for nearly 45sec!!! From the video, you guys can see that there's a camry parked right side so there's limited space for me to steer and move on. What's more, look at the nissan sylphy, he has got plenty of space on his right side and he refused to move!!! Knn, just he can just steer to his right and both of us can move on right? But he chose not to!!! Lucky my gf was by my side, if not I will pull my handbrake and get out of my car to ask him what the fark he want!!! On the account he just passed his TP test, I give it to him this time round! At least the lancer Q-ing behind this Nissan know the basic driving etiquette and he reverse his car for me to pass through! When I passed through, this nissan sylphy still don't want to move!! at least 3 to 4 cars was blasting their horn at him!!! What do you think? If I am in the wrong, let me apologies for my actions in advance! Best regards, Slyison http://youtu.be/bkox765JAH4 http://youtu.be/9s-_a_F-ZdI
