This shaft is the intermediate shaft connecting from the auto gearbox to the main drive shaft and appears a bit oily. I cleaned it and after driving, it's oily again. There is no drop in the ATF level (changed 8000km ago). Any idea if I should get it checked ?

Please follow this link to BITOG for an analysis on CLTR! Whoopee! Damn! The oil has a TBN of 4.0 after 5k and seems like it will not last very long. Sheared down to a 30wt too! I suggest OCI of around 6-7k no more. The oil was on a Toyota. Now if it behaves like this on a Toyota, imagine it in an Aveo . Wear looks very good though. Just like mine. Like they say in Chinese. Yi fen chian yi fen huo. Seems like the RP 5W20 is good. Next oil change coming up!

notice most 2nd hand car dealer shop as well as new cars out from showroom, they apply some kind of oil onto the tyre to make it look black and sleak. On touching it, it feels like some oil apply onto the surface. Anyone knows what kind of cheap solution is that ?
