Hi, A second hand car viewed my current car and asked if I intend to retain the number plate. I wonder if I retain the number plate, how does it affect the resale value of my car ? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Can anybody tell me the number plate is approve type?

I just saw a "SSA" car plate earlier on. Time really passes. haha. Do you all think there will be "SSS"?

New traffic management systems to be tested on expressways and major roads: LTA SINGAPORE - Motorists on some roads will start seeing new cameras this week. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be testing Automatic Number Plate Recognition camera systems meant to help with traffic enforcement at various locations along expressways and major roads until 2019. Dedicated Short Range Communications beacons, which aim to enhance positioning accuracy, are also being tested. "These tests will enable LTA to determine the performance and reliability of such technologies under various real-life environmental and traffic conditions for future traffic management systems which will leverage Global Navigation Satellite System technology," the LTA said on Monday (March 26). The new equipment, which do not require heavy physical infrastructure, will be mounted on overhead bridges, overhead gantry signs and lamp posts. The devices will also be placed on vehicles and deployed at areas like Tuas South from April before expanding to the rest of the country.

when you are dealing with OPC, esp related to number plate, it is a pain, due to the security seal. was told to replace this during inspection. but to replace means i gotta spend $200 to get the seal broken at LTA, replace the plates then go back to LTA to reapply the seal. that is extremely expensive for plate replacement. are there cheaper alternative besides hand painting the numbers with white paint? i heard of stickers. but scared those will peel after awhile. and BTW, how much does those stickers cost? any idea? Any advise is welcomed.

My car just got banged in the carpark. a nice Samaritan wrote me a note indicating the time and the number plate of the car that banged me. what should i do next? noobie here. please advise. will try to upload pics soon.
