TL;DR – A Land Rover Defender bullies the cam car driver by tailgating, using illegal floodlights to blind the driver and hurling vulgarities when confronted. Who needs fog lights and high beams when you illegally install floodlights in your Land Rover Defender to bully people? A cam car driver was on the receiving end of some serious road bullying at around 6pm on 21st July 2022 at IMM shopping centre. Watch the 4-min ish video of the incident here: Unclear as to what happened prior The footage uploaded did not show what might have triggered the aggression from the Defender driver. But here’s a pretty detailed summary of what went down. Shine bright like a diamond There’s NO WAY those lights are legal. Anything that jeopardises the safety of other road users (in this case, blinding them with 1,000,000 kelvins of light) will not be LTA approved. I don’t know whether you missed it, but after all that bullying, the Defender driver couldn’t even make a proper turn at the carpark. It had to do a little three-point-turn to evade scraping the walls. Online Chatter Here are a couple of award-winning comments. TL;DR – A Mazda 3 driver and a Mitsubishi Attrage driver yells at one another at a HDB estate for reasons unknown. Let’s dive right into the 49-second video. This incident looks like it occurred at a HDB estate (location undetermined), possibly near the entrance of a MSCP. Kimak! The video begins with the grey Mazda 3 driver stepping out of his car, clearly unhappy with the driver in the red Mitsubishi Attrage. . Mazda driver loses all chill and starts cursing at the Mitsubishi driver’s mother (in Malay) and other assorted dialects referencing the female anatomy. The Mitsubishi driver does play a part in this heated exchange as well. He did not project his voice as well as the Mazda driver though, so his voice is muted. What could have sparked this? Looking at the screenshot closely, I think the grey Mazda driver got mad because he was trying to make a left, but he felt obstructed by the Mitsubishi, who was turning right but positioned his car at a weird angle. Red car not in the wrong Technically, one could argue that the Mitsubishi was still within its lane, AND in his defence, he also stopped at the stop line. Online Chatter I also say. TL;DR – VW Passat P-plate driver gets mad when he gets honked at for not stopping at the stop sign. Goes all aggro on cam car in front (with high beam and unnecessary lane cutting). Question: What’s worse than a P-Plater who doesn’t know how to stop at a stop sign? Answer: An angry P-plater who doesn’t know how to stop at the stop sign. What did you learn at driving school? I don’t know about you, but when I was learning how to drive, I’m pretty sure failing to stop at a stop sign was an immediate failure. Then we have this Passat driver, fresh out of driving school with his p-plates, not applying what he learnt less than 12 months ago. Here’s the video Wow, the audacity of this one Cam car gives a warning honk to the P-plater to avoid a collision. But that doesn’t sit well with the P-Plater. He proceeds to tailgate and highbeam the cam car in an aggressive manner. If you thought that was all, towards the end of the video, P-plater swerves out of the lane, speeds up and cuts into cam car’s path like a maniac. Am confused What confuses me the most is that P-plater swerves back to the right lane after all that recklessness. Making him look like not just a prick, but a real noob-#$%^ driver.
