folks, not sure if anyone can help me on this. During my sec sch times around 18 years ago, there was a fad among the teens where they hanged those small little figurine of a man with neon-coloured hair. The man if i remember correctly only wears a shorts. Anyone know what's the name of that figurine?

spotted one white ES (SFQ XXX X) with blue neon undercarriage lights along Woodlands Ave 12.... driven by a young chap with short cropped hair..... i was the red CL7 behind you initially in the middle lane, filtering to the right lane to turn into Woodlands Ave 6. Perhaps I was a bit too fast, that you did not realise that my bonnet was just slightly infront of your bumper that u decided to do filter from the middle lane to the right, apparently also wanting to turn right into Woodlands Ave 6. Oh well, I just needed to tap my brakes a little for you to come into my lane. At the junction I kept in the right most lane, next to you who was in the "left" right-turn lane. Just when the lights turned green, and all cars advanced a bit forward, u decided, without warning or signals, that perhaps my lane could be faster, and zip right into my lane, while the half of my car body was next to yours . Boy, am I glad that my little boy seating behind me shouted about your sporty maneuver and I tapped (perhaps jammed would be more appropriate) my brakes. Right after we turned right into Woodlands Ave 6, u apparently changed your mind, and decided that the left lane in this 2-lane road is faster, and zipped into it. As i needed to turn right at the next junction, i kept to the right lane, making my merry way. But alas, the left lane was hogged by another vehicle, slowing u down. When I came up next to u, I gestured to u, palm facing up - no middle finger here. After I overtook u, somehow u ZOOOOM up behind me.... so close. since tailgating is dangerous, I dropped gear to try to accelerate to keep the distance between us. I must be getting old, cos after I dropped gear, my right foot was too slow in stepping the accelerator. The car slow down drastically - my apologies again if u needed to jam brake because of that. U followed me at the next junction. As we waited at the red lights, I glanced at my rear view mirror, and saw that you're looking unwell - perhaps having IBS (involuntary bowel syndrome), since the face looked constipated. When the lights changed into our favour, we turned into Woodlands Drive 62. Thinking you want to talk to me, I slowed down my car. But instead, u overtook me on my right, stopped your car and gestured to me.... maybe u want to know where is the nearest toilet?? Thinking it's safer to stop in the carpark just next to the road to talk, I turned in to wait for u. But alas, u made a 3-point turn at the Greenwood Primary School and ZOOOM-ZOOOM off ..... PS - u need to get your signal lights repaired - I'm sure u signalled in all your sporty lane changings , but did not realise the signal lights were not working....

WRX bruiser Key features: 0-60 in under 6 seconds Top speed of 148 mph 60-0 stopping in 120 feet Priced at $20,000 Looks remarkably like a Subaru WRX http://www.allpar.com/neon/neon-srt-4.html

"A Dodge Neon on a "World's Fastest" page! Come on Traian, April Fools isn't for another 3 months, you really missed the boat with this one!" Yes, I hear you snickering. Well, settle down there, Billy Bob, because this Neon is for real. Sure, it sounds kind of silly - it also looks kind of silly: check out those air dams and F40-style wing, which manages to both look stupid and obstruct vision - but the SRT-4 has moves that would make a WRX proud. The SRT-4 (Street and Racing Technology) takes the PT Cruiser GT's blown (using a Mitsubishi TD04-L-16GK turbocharger) 2.4-litre engine, a Valeo air-to-air intercooler, oil-cooled 8.1:1 compression pistons (versus the naturally aspirated 9.4:1), a high flow intake manifold and engine controller and the GT's crankshaft, block, coolant passages and oil pan. Also included in the deal is a high-performance five-speed manual NVG T850 'box and a muffler-less, dual outlet exhaust system with wider, 2.5-inch polished stainless tips. This takes the R/T's output from 150 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque to 215 and 245, respectively. "Ok, that's not bad," I hear you say, but in a 2880 lb shell (which really isn't all that light for a car its size, but it'll do) it's enough to grace the SRT-4 with a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds. For a car that costs fewer than 20 grand that's pretty darn sweet. When you're not drag racing, it's nice to know the SRT also comes with sturdier control arms, higher spring rates, firmer strut valving, the PT GT's steering rack, beefier anti-roll bars and wider footprints: 205/ 50ZR-17 rubber versus the R/T's 195/50TR-16. The brakes were also pampered: larger all-wheel disc brakes, vented up front and squeezed by bigger pads stop the '4 from 70 mph in consistent 165 ft runs. Numbers don't really convey how the car drives, so here's the smack-down: This car is fast, lots of boost and lots of torque with a hint of torque steer in the first two cogs. It rides acceptably firm and is excellent for smoothing winding lanes though it does understeer at the limit. The seats are pretty and supportive and the four-pot sounds good, but the shifter is gross and the whole thing gets kind of tiring in everyday traffic. The Neon SRT-4 is a great sports car and an unbeatable value.

I have 2 neon lights, given to me by my brother from his PC. It was in the PC but it caused heating problems n remove it. Using a 3s2p li-poly batts, the neon lights lighted up. Using my car batt, the neon lights lighted up. Then I connect it to my car boot lights, it did not light up and I saw smoke from the transformer. Car boot wire was white n green wire. Neon lights red n black wire. Guess I connected the wires wrongly. I opened up the transformer box n saw the PCB board burnt. Anyone here can help me repair it???? I'll post the pics tonight.
