  1. Came across this 10 min video. Take a look.... Interesting and thought provoking.... One day in our life, we will realise money is not the motivator of our existence....
  2. Now it becomes abundantly clear why we're getting worse and worse public service despite our public servants paying themselves more and more. Seriously, when you consider that: Linus Torvalds - developed the Linux kernel, Richard Stallman - a major figure in the Free Software Foundation, MIT educated, Grigori Perelman - mathematical genius, proved the hideously difficult Poincare conjecture, but refused both the prestigious Fields Medal *and* the US$1,000,000 Clay Mathematics Institute Prize, and many others all have done brilliant work without expecting (and in some cases, actively refusing) financial recompense, it becomes clear that profit alone cannot motivate intellects at the highest level. Surely our Mini-stars are completely incomparable to these true intellectual heavyweights. We are basically paying for what we get and getting what we paid for - a bunch of self-serving middleweights.
