    Armored MMA

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a brutal sport that, in recent decades, has grown to significant prominence. Whatever you make of the sport (and the often complicated and sometimes problematic climate that swirls around it), there's no denying its popularity, driven in large part by the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) brand - a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise. But if partially-clothed men/women beating the s*it out of each other is not quite your thing, may I interest you in a ludicrous twist on the sport? Armored MMA. It's absurd. It's crazy. And it's hilarious. Even the referee has to wear a helmet and gauntlets. Perhaps my favourite thing, though, is actually in the rules (yes, there is a rulebook): 6.1.3 Active Engagement: At all times, the fighters will continuously engage in the fight. Advancing on the opponent, or attempting to strike/grapple/take down the opponent will be considered engagement. Creating or using distance to evaluate or attempt an alternative strategy is considered affirmative action and will not be penalized as timidity. NO TIMIDITY ALLOWED.

  3. @Enderone no happy ending 🤣
  4. The younger sister of ONE champions Angela and Christian Lee, Victoria died on December 26 in Hawaii Shocking. Angela Lee's sister dies at age 18. Cause of death has not been made public. I remember watching her fight video about a year ago. 😢 RIP!
  5. Nowadays Singaporeans too stressed up. Everything also fight boxing style. Can anyone help to attach the video here. https://stomp.straitstimes.com/singapore-seen/mma-showdown-at-dhoby-ghaut-mrt-station#xtor=CS1-10
  6. Who's your "money" on - literally or metaphorically? "Money" (heh) or the notorious leprechaun? So much at stake going by the crazy comments on non-local forums. Nationalism. Race (???) - seems many Trump supporting Americans are siding with the Irishman over the American for reasons best known (and kept) to themselves. Boxing vs MMA Maturity vs Youth Wife-beater vs not-known-to-be-woman-beater (LOL) Anyway, I've got my PPV, my snacks and drinks all lined up for the big event tomorrow.
  7. Not sure if wols, happened yesterday in USJ One condo. The 'fighter' started to get aggressive when refused entry into the condo. Made the first move, in the end, kena taken down by the small-built guard.
