  1. Rumours: New Mitsubishi Outlander might get Nissan power source: https://uk.motor1.com/news/420365/next-mitsubishi-outlander-nissan-engine/ In return, Mitsubishi will reportedly share its plug-in hybrid powertrain with Nissan. The current Mitsubishi Outlander is nearing the end of its lifetime. The current model has been on sale since its 2014 model year, and it's about time for Mitsubishi to give its compact crossover a full revamp. It won't be long, however, until we see the next-generation Outlander. It has been spied testing since September of last year, and it has been confirmed that a new one will debut this year. However, information about the next Outlander is still scarce at this point, as well as its expected styling, although these exclusive renderings should give you an idea of how it will look like. What we know is that the Mitsubishi Outlander will be sharing its underpinnings with the next-generation Nissan Qashqai, which is scheduled to debut this year, as well. Both crossovers will ride on a platform developed by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. Automotive News, however, reported that the Outlander will be using a Nissan engine under its bonnet, marking the first time that a Mitsubishi vehicle will be using a Nissan mill. The information was from Japan's Nikkei business daily. This signals a deeper alliance between the two Japanese marques, furthering the current strategy of cutting costs by sharing product development.
  2. This thread is curated from this youtube channel. This is the 2020 Grand Lancer. This is the front view of the Grand Lancer, the design cue does have a bit of Triton in it. 🤔 But it is definitely a whole new take from the past Lancer outlook that hasn't been a refresh for the longest time. I sure like the side profile of the new Grand Lancer, the line from the front A-pillar to the driver door does make the car sportier. I just hope that the vent is real! So that there is some performance purpose for the holes. The rear view of the car is nicely shaped too. The boot has a little duck tail the looks sportier. And I also like the rear bumper the way it has vents. The c shape LED lights to seem to have taken a lot of re-iterations from the recent Civic and Impreza. Nothing much to fanfare about it. A closer view of the Rear LED Light. Here's a look on the front DRL. A bit like golf thou IMHO. Okay. To the interior. This youtube channel is from Taiwan, so is LHD. I like the ipad style centre display! The steering wheel looks very minimalistic! A full LCD display and a nice pedal shifter. 🙂 You can do different configuration on the smart display too! How cool is this! This is by far the favourite for this car. A tesla-like infotainment system! Just look at the size of the screen! OMG! This is so damn good for displaying a map. Reverse mode. Let's come to the back, the centre trunk is quite protruded, so maybe for a long-distance drive, best is to just sit 4 paxs. Look very spacious~! Here's the car key. The boot opening is very practical. I think is big enough for all barang barang. The wheels are fitted on 16" 5 spokes alloy rims with Bridgestone Turanza T001, A very highly recommended touring tyres for those who want comfort and minimum road noises. I will highly recommend Turanza! Okay. That's all for now! Enjoy!

  5. The Mitsubishi Pajero is set to be discontinued after being on sale for more than 37 years Japan. Production will cease come August and Mitsubishi has launched a Final Edition which is limited to 700 units as a celebratory model. Based on the Pajero Exceed, the Final Edition features add-ons like a sunroof and roof rails. Ticking the box for the Final Edition Accessory Package would then add a rear spoiler, a spare tire cover and mud flaps with Pajero badging. Inside, things remain pretty much the same other than a new illuminated “Final Edition” sill plates. The SUV is powered by a 3.2-litre four cylinder diesel engine that produces 187bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a locking rear differential. While the Japanese will not be getting anymore Pajeros soon, the car will still be made available in a handful of markets like Australia and the Middle East.

  8. Chinese cars gun for European market[/url] For the first time in its long history the Geneva International Motor Show is playing host to a Chinese manufacturer. Brilliance, based in Shenyang, is looking to use the annual event as a springboard for cracking the Swiss and European markets. But are motorists ready to buy a Chinese car? One man who has no doubts is Hans-Ulrich Sachs, chairman and managing director of HSO Motors Europe, which is responsible for setting up a distribution network for Brilliance. He dismisses talk of the poor reliability and poor reputation of Chinese cars as not something that concerns Brilliance. "We have well-proven technology as far as the engine and the gearbox are concerned
