Sound proofing is usually 2 layers. One layer is on the metal bit of the door and then another layer is on the frame of the door. Mitsu actually bothered to stick 2 pieces of felt to dampen a bit of vibration on the door plastic. One layer on the door skin One layer on the door frame Mitsu has 2 pieces of felt. Better than never put anything I guess.

I'm curious how this small & underpowered car will perform in SG context... It's immensely popular in US due to low cost & fuel frugality. Anyone test drive or bought 1? Comments?

As expected from my thread title, I drive a mitsubishi lancer. I'm not very good with cars specs to be honest and I've been driving this car for nearly 9 years now. I've had very few issues with the car even though I've closed nearly 300k of mileage. Is Mitsubishi not as popular as other Japanese car brands? If so, how come? Genuinely curious.
