Hi Guys, This morning side mirror got hits by a Goods Truck and one of the side mirror cannot open up anymore. The mechanism inside have broken as it's causing some gear noise on one side of the mirror. How much will it cost to replace the side mirror with led side indicator and spray paint. (White) I want Original Parts ... Any place which I can call up for a quote? Thanks Guys ~

Hi all, Lately i have been thinking of putting a water repellent film on my car side mirrors and windows. I have heard feedback it's not useful, it makes vision worse and so on. Anyone has any feedback after using them?

I had a small accident today. My mazda 3 side mirror back cover is peeled off and broken. Anyone know how much does it cost to replace it? Also other than going back to Mazda, is there any alternative? I don't think this is covered by warranty right? Thanks

My Honda car, side mirror will fold when car alarm lock. Unfold when car alarm unlock. But today the folding failed. It stayed in the open position when I lock the car. Even I manually pressed the fold/unfold switch in the car, also cannot fold the mirror. I don't think suddenly both mirror motor can spoil at same time. So it might be the third party auto-fold module is spoilt. But then even if spoilt, the manual switch should still work separately. I did not move the wires, so I don't think the wire might be loose(most likely the reason). Before I send in to the workshop. I wish to seek your comment n experiences, on this matter. Thanks.

Hello, came to know this place on yesterday, Sasaran. very interesting natural phenomenon which only happens 4-5days per month, a mirror effect location: Sasaran, Selangor situated approximately 1 hour away from KL Once you reach Sasaran, you'll have to take a 45minutes boat ride out to the Straits of Malacca so, anyone been there before? worth going?

There seems to be no thread on blind spot sensor system, so I thought I start it so we all can learn from one another. This thread is for discussion on where to get one, not whether it's useful or not (that's a whole topic by itself ;-) ) It seems to me it's not easily available in Singapore. I have not found a shop that supplies any model. Hi, Anyone know where to repair auto flip side mirror, one side of the mirror not working. Workshop told me to replace both side mirror with respray at $400 plus. Not sure if repair option is available in the market?

ok. the last time i drove an Avante, it was rented and that was like > 3 years ago. i now got a new ride, an 09 forte. i find the mirrors a tad narrow as compared to my old ride. i was wondering, if any brudders here ever replace their side view mirrors for their Forte before. ever wondered if the Avante side view can be used on the Forte?

I dont see the dot during the day. Is this the cause of auto diming rear mirror. I was in the car park about 7pm, not very dark, no car behind, so no lights from the rear, why is there still a black dot. Is it normal. It does not bother me but just curious.

Any Altis owner who have the same problem as my auto tilt mirror is not working well. My left mirror does up instead of returning to the original position after putting to Normal or Parking position. Any lobang to change them ?. Any one know if the auto tilt module control both mirrors or each module control each mirror. Thanks.

Hi I recently got a 2nd hand Toyota picnic but however the side mirror has a lot of scratch mark. I went to a local Toyota spare part and bought the mirror (glass only) to try to replace it. However it cant fit in, the shape is the same but the clip behind is slightly different. According to my workshop, it seem like the previous owner might have replace it with an parallel import side mirror instead of the original mirror. is there anyway I can know what kind of side mirror is compatible with Picnic ? where can I get suitable mirror to replace the mirror glass? The swirl mark make driving in the night terrible. please help.

Hi, currently my side mirror LED indicator is not working anymore, went to accessories shop and was told that the LED Bulb can't change, have to change the whole side mirror. As my model is quite rare locally, so i need to check with you guys is what i was told true? Please advise.Thanks.
